Note to Teachers EVERYWHERE, if your student demonstrates this sort of creative humanity, the REAL WORLD NEEDS THEM. Don`t punish such character, reward it. It will be the salvation of us all!

Just so people know, most teachers appreciate humor and creativity, that`s why we (yes we) became teachers. Many times it`s the system that we are in that requires us to follow more rigid guidelines. How can we allow you to continue in math if you can`t do linear algebra if that is needed for the next level, just because you drew a giraffe? We`d be setting you up for failure...

One of my teachers had a thing for Aquaman, so I got extra credit one time for drawing a picture of Aquaman with an Awesomeface riding a narwhal jumping out of the water, and one for Aquaman stealing Batman`s girlfriend.

"If I were a teacher and got a student gave a completely wrong, yet clever answer like that, I`d give them an automatic A."

"Note to Teachers EVERYWHERE, if your student demonstrates this sort of creative humanity, the REAL WORLD NEEDS THEM. Don`t punish such character, reward it. It will be the salvation of us all!"

Yeah, that`s exactly what we need. Reward stupidity. Reward the kids who are too lazy to study/get help/care about their schoolwork.

Interesting how this suddenly seems to resurface all over the web, when apparently it`s been on CollegeHumor for ages. Either way it`s pretty funny. As a maths student, I`m fond of this kind of stuff, and I try this sometimes in my exams. I`m no good at drawing though.

4*

PS. Groogle, this is Gaussian Elimination, he`s trying to find the inverse of that matrix. It fits in more with algebra than any of the other branches of maths, and it`s not really anything to do with resistors afaik.

tried something similar on a calc test, although I wouldn`t say that I was as cute or that I actually finished the test...they dropped me from the class :-|

Very fake, and there`re loads of variations in it. They`r pretty funny though.

Does anybody have the one where one stickman is holding another one with a gun to his head and says: "GIVE ME THE BONUS POINTS OR THIS GUY GETS IT!". And the other figure says "Please, do what he says!".

- This answer is all win. NOTE: Turn your speakers down.
I am SO doing this on all of my future tests.

Also the ability to teach their students to spell sense. That would help too.

Giraffes for great justice!

That`s not algebra... That`s enginering. R stands for resistor.

Those are matrices. R means row.

The handwriting of the "indeed +1" is the same as the giraffe note!

He or she wrote the score himself!

You can see it clearly with the "d" and the "e"

HE IS A PHONIE!

I learned it in my high school sophomore alg 2 class way back when.

it scared me

"Ghost Love Score" by Nightwish. This song is to epic what Yakety Sax is to funny.
