I like how now one has any problem when these are used on animals, but the moment a child gets one around their neck it becomes cruel and unusual. I see puppies on the same level as baby human, just more... fluffy. And WAY more cute lol. Hypocrisy is annoying.

i have nothing to say about this, anyone who doesn`t already see what is wrong with this vid(and pijamas` comment) is emotionally twisted to the point that my words would fall upon deaf ears.

so.... do you guys think its weird that i use a shock collar as a ro0ster-ring? it really works!

JoeYC: Yes, because Animals are not people.

Seriously, anyone that thinks ANY animal is equal to ANY human, is an idiot. I`m sorry but it`s true. Now I`m not saying to mistreat Animals or anything, I LOVE Animals, but they are not on the same level as Humans. A Dogs life is not, and never will be, as important as a Humans.

And to JoeYC. Is something wrong with you? You give no thought about a 3 year old child but worry about animals?

I`m glad tazer style shock collars are illegal in the UK!

Wow that`s awful. Ugh. And as much as I personally wouldn`t agree with using a shock collar on dogs either, it`s NOT the same thing on a human. Humans are just not equal to animals. End of story.

kikayoaka, I can appreciate tht you have a different opinion, but don`t be an ass. No one wants to listen to anyone who calls them an `idiot` because you don`t like their views. I don`t care how right you think you are.

On another note, if it can be used for a dog I don`t see why you can`t use it on a seven year old. 3 is a bit young, but older children will live and get over it.

steve41high, I have no idea. I just got yelled at the other day for being a vegetarian. No, I wasn`t in a veg. vs. meat debate. I think those are stupid. If you want to eat meat that`s fine, I don`t want to and I have my reasons, and I`m not going to force any views on you. I was looking at a menu and I said to my friend, `So what can I eat here?` and some random guy turned around and was like, "I completely don`t agree with your vegetarianism. I think it`s unhealthy and it`s a bad lifestyle." So I got up and slapped him with the pepperoni pizza in his hand. How freaking rude, right?
So my point is, no matter how you word things, there will be that other side jumping down your throat for no reason. JoeYC didn`t say anything about no caring about a three year old, he just wondered about something else. The people who have attacked him for that are just attacking to attack. It`s kind of sad, really. Don`t feed into them.

""A Dogs life is not, and never will be, as important as a Humans."

    Why?"

Because they are animals, have no higher level thinking, do not have any civilization, do not have oral or written history, and most importantly, or least depending on your view, they don`t share a language with us.

    Oh FFS!
Whats with the pathetic animal rights activists getting all bent up in this thread!
Get a grip on yourselves. Had it been a tazer and not a shock collar, this wouldnt even have been brought up!

Get of your bloody moral pedastal and look at the facts of what acctually happened, rather than what else could be!

What worrys me more is that we have idiots (and yes you are idiots) in this thread who`s first thoughts and concerns are not about children being abused but about the fact the product is designed for animals. Was the story acctually about a dog being shocked? No it bloody wasnt!

I AM an animal lover and I DO oppose these collars along with animal abuse and I do belive animals deserve some rights... but I will never EVER worry about an animal before I worry about a fellow human being..especially a child.

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Okay, you try walking a 100 pound German Shepard, who suddenly sees a cat and takes off after it, with you attached to the leash. You will be DRAGGED. So, a shock collar comes in handy to A) save the kitty B) save you C) control the dog.

Oh and pink and green. I`m a Dog trainer and I can tell you, if that "100 pound" german shepard takes off on you, why didn`t you TRAIN it when it was a puppy!??? I`m 5"7 and can control an adult neopolitian mastiff... Why can`t you?

Also put a shock collar on yourself first and see how you like it.

The good news is, its not too late for you to train your dog to behave on leash, speak to a postive training trainer. and get help.

I love how the "neighbors" in every story always say..."It is shocking, this is such a great neighborhood." No matter what the story is, how bad, or where, everyone thinks they live in Mr. Roger`s neighborhood. Just makes me laugh.
