America is the world’s largest consumer of ____________?

Correct answer : Cocaine, heroine and marijuana

    +++++++++++++++

Dear quiz: If you`re going be vaguely xenophobic while trying to make another nation look silly, run a spellcheck, or it might just backfire.

Heroine = Wonder Woman. Heroin = Narcotic.

Full of bs and trying to be witty.

    REALLY?
    "Bush level of inteligence."
    "Too many yankees"
    "85.000" kcal. That is inhuman.

Question about the country being the most consuming of: "Resources, Solar Energy or Drugs."
    All true.

AND WHY IT`S "FROM A FOREIGNERS VIEW"?
I`m brazilian and that has nothing to do with the quiz.

That`s easily explained by size and location. The USA is huge and mostly surrounded by a lot of water. How many people in Norway travel 3000 or more miles for a holiday?

There are laws all over the place that aren`t enforced and which hardly anyone has even heard of. The USA has a lot of them, but only because it`s a big place with a lot of laws (city, state, federal). They exist all over the place and everyone ignores them.

As far as I know, it`s still a technically a legal requirement for Englishmen to regularly train in archery. That`s a famous one. I think it`s also a legal requirement for a policeman in London to hold your horse while you`re in a shop.

You mean "of which hardly anyone has heard", but I digress. In both Australia and the UK, a female can drive a car ONLY if a man walks in front of her waving a red flag. I`m not sure about the UK, but the Australian law is still on the books. A lot of these `ridiculous` laws were passed because of a single incident, and are kept on the books deliberately so that if you pi*s off a cop and yet behave yourself and have your car in perfect condition, he can still find something with which to charge you.

almightybob1: the original London Bridge was of course falling down. After being condemned it was a bought up by the American Robert McCulloch, for $2,460,000us. Who dismantled it brick by brick. Then shipped across the ocean and reassembled and reassembled it in Arizona as a tourist attraction.

The sad thing about this quiz

In northeast Tennessee, there are people who
    1) Think Elvis is still alive, and are eagerly awaiting his return,
    2) Have their entire house decorated with Elvis paraphernalia and
    3) wouldn`t have just known what is average calorie intake was, but also know his favorite meals.

actually, many of the hicks around my area have never been more that 50 miles away from home.
actually, many have never been more than 20, considering that a community group took people to ONE TOWN OVER, about 20-30 miles away, and many people said when they came back:
Well gosh dern, I ain`t never been that far away from my own home bafur

Lionhart2: It`s become a joke that the speed limit in London is 4mph...and it doesn`t matter that the law`s still on the books because London is so congested that you can`t drive faster than 4mph anyway.

The Locomotive Act 1865 was the "red flag" law in the UK. It was sex-neutral and it was replaced in 1896 by a new Locomotive Act that removed the requirement for a man walking in front with a red flag.

I think there`s still a law in Brittain that states that it is illegal to have sexual intercourse during the day on the steps of the bakc entrance to a church. Specifically. Now, I think it would be called indecent behaviour and you`d be arrested for something like that anyway, but it doesn`t say anything about doing the same thing at night on the front steps...
