Copyright laws. Same reason they have to show the Olympic logo upside down
Marge:yes homie....doo, doo, doo, doo (circus theme)Homer:You people have stood in my way long enough. I`m going to clown college! [leaves]Bart: I don`t think any of us expected him to say that.
"I can`t believe they didn`t have a clip from Eternal Moonshine Of The Simpson Mind, that was all about hallucinations, and is one of the best episodes I have seen."
is that the "I`m giving it to your wife" (said like duffman) one?
Most memorable line of the episode
"Is that dad?""Either that or Batman really let himself go..."
"Why it`s that delightful TV leprechaun! I`m going to get your lucky charms!"(Cuts to outside his office; power drill sounds.)"Oh no, my brains!"
you know a show is good when they can mock themselves in the show, like the 138th Episode spectacular, the spin off show case, or one of marge`s lines about being the 100th time homer did something.
I don`t remember seeing the chili episode on that short list. I could`ve been mistaken.
"this is because I kicked you isn`t it" *tortoise nods*
As someone who used to be a huge Simpsons nerd, I`ll tell you exactly where they started to fall off -- when Mike Scully took over as Executive Producer.
Strangely enough, his first season -- Season 9 -- was the best season out of the whole series, or at least I thought so.
Season 10 was when the Simpsons died for good. I finally stopped watching after Season 12 and have seen maybe only 5 new episodes since.
If you stop after the 9th season, I think it`s the greatest TV show of all time... but unfortunately, there have been 11 horrible seasons since then. Sad, really, but anytime I catch an old episode on TV I make sure I watch it.
Pfft, you can`t type certain combonations of letters like poo and drat that only the brain-dead think are `bad` but you can encourage drug use?
lol, yall are weird.
You don`t seem like a liar though. Got any sold proof?
I remember a scene like that... I just don`t remember the series from which it came.
Also, anyone notice thatthe show`s getting so old that they`re forcesd o re-use old plots? Yess, the Simpsons are are doing what they`ve already done. Seriously, Matt Groening`s not that greart anymore. You first think that`s a good episode...but then it just falls apart.
Weren`t they already supposed to cancel it?
