Darwin`s Urban Mobility Bike. Just one ride and we garantee you will become an instant Darwin Award recipient or your money back... to your next of kin... if you have any.
and as for the acronyms, how about D.U.M.B. Darwin`s Urban Mobility Bike
Cretinous Urban Numpty Transport System?
If the PUMA can actually do 35, then it can keep up with traffic on city streets. I don`t see any visibility issues that can`t be solved by just painting the thing a brighter color. It may not provide the impact protection of a car, but would be at least as safe as riding a motorcycle.
Of course, if the thing tops out at 25 mph, then it becomes a traffic hazard. So the viability really depends on how much power they can get into the production model.
Seriously...it`s reliable, extensively tested in real use, much safer and far cheaper than this PUMA thing.
What do they have against numbers of wheels greater than two?! Adding one more wheel would make it require substantially less technology and therefore cost thousands less. I have thought about it a lot and I still can`t think of one advantage to having only two parallel wheels.
Also, imagine getting in an accident on one of those things. A f*cking bicycle could take this thing out!
Apply directly to the forehead! Apply directly to the forehead! Apply directly...
Sorry, not exactly relevant.
Too fast for the sidewalks and too slow for the streets. My favorite thing about this is that GM thinks that they will designate special lanes on the streets for this.
In case you were wondering about the price, they wouldn`t put a number to it, but said that it would cost about a third of what a normal car costs to own and operate.
Epic reference is epic.
Sign of the times, huh?
Its an animal...and a shoddy clothing brand from the early 90`s
Its safe, but its also slow, frail and gay.Probably also expensive.
