If you think this is cool, check Princess Juliana International in the Netherlands Antilles, and the old Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong...

Only domestic and small planes are allowed on at that airport now. Following a 2008 crash they moved all international flights to a military base nearby.

That was surpirisingly... Dull. Could`ve go a better camera angle for it, like one that shows the planes wheels or one inside the plane or something...

Would laugh if one of the kids on the ridge tried to land a hook onto the wing of the plane. Last words would be "I got it guys!"

Holy poo. I wouldn`t land on that using a dratin jet.

A small private plane, meh, but a JET?
That needs skill.

Isn`t this the runway where, in order to take off, you basically fly the plane right off a cliff?

I might try it in a car...

@Ollie, It would probably be okay for landed a small Cesna or piper, but this pilot landed what looks like a B757, which is a pretty big...

@panda, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMCpCXngM... one of my favorite ones, Pilot lands a freaken Airbus on a similar runway!

Pilots have to be specially trained to land at airports like this one, Many hours in expensive simulators.

"One" of the shortest? Are you saying there`s more treacherously brake-snapping international runways out there?

Ew, Honduras.

Unfortunately they closed TGU for commercial airlines after a crash last May.

I am confused. That is like a 727 or 737 jet and that runway looks long enough to land a Piper Cub. How do they take off again?
