and they let the owner keep him in that condition?! I am disgusted! Allowing your animal to get that fat is animal abuse. In Europe people get charged for that. I cant wait until they have that law in America.

That is safest way to keep a monkey...too fat to run at you and rip your face off. Its a win-win.

How come there are 2 Europeans speaking about eating the brains. . . ?

Anywho - that monkey needs a serious workout. Seriously.

haha, they can`t classify that as animal abuse unless we lock up parents for doing that to their kids first.

If that was the UK I`m 90% certain that the story would be about the owners being prosecuted for neglect, and not the random kid finding it in the back yard.

Poor thing.
Some people just shouldnt be allowed to keep animals.
In fact, some animals should not be kept at all eg monkeys. They`re so intelligent, sticking them in a cage and giving them endless amounts of Italian just doesnt satisfy them. They need company (pref of their own species), something to DO, and space.

"How sad.

The best thing they can do for that monkey is to release it back into the wilds of the Amazon rain forest where it belongs."

your an idiot....

Male 1,178
drating disgraceful. Not only do they insist on owning a monkey, which is bad enough in itself. But they want to stuff it full of poo food and make it just as fat as them.

Reply
Male 959
So now we`re turning the animals obese as well. That`s cruelty, and the owners should have been charged.

Male 8,302
Don`t send it back to the Amazon, just put board shorts and a check shirt on it, a camera round its neck, and drop it off in any airport in the world. It`ll be years before anyone works out its not an American tourist.

""How sad.

Because a morbidly obese and domesticated monkey belongs in the wild. I`d give it five minutes before a lion or some other large predator saw it, laughed, and slashed it`s head off. "

I think it`s more likely to learn to read than get eaten by a lion in the Amazon

To Nidonemo: Maybe it would be too buys laughing its ass off to be able to slash it?

To everyone who thought I was actually serious: I KNOW not everything in the US is obese. I was just making a funny. :>

i think I`d laugh if i saw a lion in the amazon :D

but i want to see the people who did this to the poor animal. see if they`re morbidly obese. then we can tie a leash around thier necks annd make them waddle along the floor!
