no matter how pooty your music is, you should never apologize for it... especially if it made you mad cash.

and whoever posted the In Living Color episode of Jim Carey doing Vanilla Ice, that was one of my favorite parts of the show.

Why would you apologize for that? If it wasn`t for `Ice Ice Baby`, we wouldn`t have this.

Bad music? BAD MUSIC? With hits like "Ice Ice Baby" and "Go, Ninja Go, Ninja GO!" how can anyone, including him, dispute his music prowess?
/sarcasm
Man, that video was filled with sighs and grunts. Can you do anything right, Van Winkle? Compensate for your name, maybe? Actually contribute something to his pitiful world?

xDDD
Nah, I still luv Vanilla Ice.
I was half expecting to bust out and dance at the end.

"I don`t mind being the one to say so for the upteenth time, even though lots of people post without reading the other comments first: THIS CLIP IS A COMMERCIAL. IT`S NOT REAL. CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE AT THE END OF IT.
That having been said, or screamed (sorry for the block caps but people weren`t listening), I *wish* it was real."

HERE, I WILL SAY IT IN CAPS: YES, THIS WAS AN ADVERTISEMENT, BUT HIS SENTIMENT WAS/IS REAL! LOOK INTO IT BEFORE MAKING BLANKET STATEMENTS. YOU CAN FIND ISTANCES IN THE PAST WHERE HE HAS SHOWN HATRED OF HIS "VANILLA ICE" PAST.

DOES THIS CLEAR IT UP FOR YOU AS WELL?

I`m gonna say what many of you are thinking but don`t have the balls to say... I like the song and still do. Yeah, he was a creep for not giving Queen/David Bowie credit, but the song was still catchy (perhaps because of the sampling). You know you`re out there! Someone bought all those recordings.

Now if just the rest of the hip-hop/rap world would apologize for their crap.

Tired of the 1000 Watt subwoofers, The canned drum machine rhythm, The gold diamond encrusted teeth, And the 26" spinner rims. >-(

Reading the comments here... Are people seriously that drating stupid? It`s a drating web ad for Virgin Mobile. I gotta go and call 911, because I got tricked by Virgin Mobile and they stole some of my time and they won`t give it back.

Somehow... deep down inside, I think he really dont give a crap about what everyone else thinks. That`s why he was able to pull it off in the first place.

I dont quite understand why he turned up into a gangsta emo but I think it`s related to the fact that he need money to survive. He could try to get a job like everyone else... that would be epic.

We just watched a commercial. Richard Branson and Virgin have got to like sites like IAB that give them advertising at no charge.

Real? He kept the money fools. (or at least the money he did not have to pay to Queen and Bowie for nicking thier tune)

I don`t know why he feels the need to apologize. He all fairness he really doesn`t need to look at his past and regret it. It is what it is and I`m sure he learnt from it. Besides, I`m absolutely sure that someone out there got a lot of happiness out of ice ice baby.

I say this when I`m not even a fan of his music now or when it was big back in the day.

On the other hand...who is going to apologize to Queen and David Bowie?

For some odd reason, I feel like forgiving him.

"I hope to God that this is real."

It is very real. That guy has a serious identity and self-esteem issue. He completely hates that part of his life and refuses to let it go, even though most of the world has or just doesn`t care. The reason I know this is becuase he was on a show once and he saw a picture of Vanilla Ice on the wall and went batpoo crazy over it. He was completely embarrassed and even degraded himself, which tells me he has not let it go.

LET IT GO DUDE!
