    sorry to be a nazi, but i just thought id point out the star spangled banner was made in 1814 and francis scott key was not even born yet in 1776

    You know, if you really want to be anal, you could argue that he actually didn`t kill himself with that quill, and that the song that he actually wrote was much different from the one in the video...

    Unfortunately though, arguing that would make you even more of a jackass and such a video would not even be remotely funny.

    I haven`t even read the comments, but how long did it take for some know-it-all to mention that this "was not actually a song, but a poem, which was later set to music"?

    If I`m the first, then I`m so friggin` smart. If not, then the person who said it is a blowhard and needs to get over him/herself.

    Actually, I always hated the star spangled banner. The rhymes are stupid and awkward, and the tune`s nothing to be proud of either.

    You should see the actual area that the star spangled banner was supposedly written in. It smells of dead fish and Ft. Armistead is full of farrel cats. They also host starscape there every year, just lock people inside for 2 days and let them get messed up on all kinds of stuff.
