That would take some friggin` strength and stamina, not to mention coordination. I`m impressed.

At first I thought it was just a trick, for fun, but it looks like they actually employ that as an efficient way to work.

"Lazyness.

Youre doing it pretty well actually "

yeah, I can see how throwing a shovel full of wet cement up to another person about 8-10 feet above you is lazy. *shakes head at thoughtless comment*

inefficient. why would low pay workers learn a skill so inefficient yet so difficult? because it is most likely fake.

"Why didn`t they mix the cement on the scaffold?"

Because the mortar is in 60-75lb bags plus a lot of sand and water is mixed in. It would be harder to get all of the supplies on the scaffold then to move the finished mortar. Plus it needs to be mixed in a wheel barrow or a mixer. It is actually a common method. But like "OldOllie" stated with a bucket.

Of course, they could move twice as much in half the time with half the effort if they would just put it in a bucket on a rope. And BTW, that`s not cement; it`s mortar, which, like concrete, grout, and stucco, is made with cement and other ingredients.
