In a high-speed pursuit, suspects throw handfuls of $100 bills out the window and on the busy freeway in California.

That can`t be tracked. As for the person who said they with they were at an ATM that gave out the wrong dollar amount, that can be tracked and you would be held responsible for that money. Do not do it unless you want to pay back the cash.

Yeah I`m sure the cops wouldn`t have picked them up... I`m sure that all the 100`s recovered will be returned... just like I was SURE when I got arrested I had over half a kilo of MJ in the bag and I was charged with 2.3 grams - wherever the rest went, I aint asking.

Yeah, I don`t *believe* they can track them. I work for a bank, we never check the number. I`m sure the Fed does, but how would they know who deposit the bill and more likely it would be given out to another customer.

If anyone says they wouldn`t stop their car on a highway if 100`s were all over the road, they`re lying.

That kind of sucks in the end though, because you`re essentially committing a crime by picking them up, especially if you saw them getting thrown out a window during a police chase.

Does anyone else think it`s sad to see people running around like starving children going after some food just to get some cash that they`ll probably waste on booze and lotto tickets anyway?

Yeah right, Tracked, Nice try there cops.

Even if they were in sequential order, They wouldn`t be "tracked down" till they hit a large bank or federal reserve. Spend them at places without cameras and no one will care.

tracked? i highly doubt that the convenience store next door can really tell if those 100 dollars bills are stolen. and go to another state? no way. the only people who`ll track those are other banks. i doubt they`ll find most of them.

Speaking of whatever the hell you were talking about, those Tasmanian robbers that blew up an ATM in Latrobe a few weeks ago blew up another one a couple of days ago, still haven`t been caught. Making the cops look pretty silly down here.

"something similar happened near my house when I was younger, people were lined up trying to catch money and the cops were checking everyone, lol. They can`t be tracked btw, that`s a bold face lie."

They CAN be tracked using the numbers on the bills.

BUT, if you just kept them all and didn`t deposit them in any sort of bank...

You could easily just use a single Benjamin to buy a pack of gum and get change from different stores. Then take all the change and deposit that later.

It`s not like the money has a chip in it that`ll locate it. They can just track it via paper trail or if you have it in a bank account.

I`d have stuffed that poo in my shoes and drove all a happy person.
