And the reason there are yard markers is because in the US (Soccer) and American football have the same season and in most colleges and high schools American Football takes priority over (soccer)
the areas? you shouldn`t talk about Americans not knowing soccer if 1)You are American2)You don`t even know that its called the six yard and eighteen yard lines (at least in America that`s what they`re called).
Oh sorry, were those thoughts I should have kept to myself? *hint, hint*
goals are 8 foot high. that wasnt even hit with that much pace. the keeper`s positioning and timing were just not very good.
im pretty sure there was another touch after the freekick was takin that was out of camera shot..but nonetheless it was still good time to score.
I think these are high schoolers, where they always have unlimited substitutions. In some states, when a high school player gets a yellow card, the rules require that he or she be subbed out immediately and then can re-enter at the next opportunity after cooling off. It prevents fights when idiotic kids lose their heads.
My calculations add up to the same.starting on the 40, all the way to the end zone 60. Plus 10 for the end zone, 70.
shreveport? i live in shreveport :D
but yeah, i agree with everyone else. that keeper sucks
40-yard line to 50-yard line = 10 yads50-yard line to endzone = 50 yardsendzone = between 10 and 20 yards depending of rules/league
And yeah, keeper should have at least put it over the bar even if he couldn`t catch it.
also, does that guy really need that much of a run-up?
Assuming that football (american) field is accurate, then the yard marks should go 40-50 (10), 50-40 (20), 40-30 (30), 30-20 (40), 20-10 (50), 10-GL (60), then 10 yards for endzone. (70).
