First off who would date her, second who would date her and fall so in love with her that he`d kill her rather than have her be with someone else. Anyways I think all military personnel should wear a weave for protection purposes.

So they`ll get charged with attempted murder...plea down to assault with a deadly weapon...and a couple gun charges...sentenced to 12 years, do 3-4 and be back on the "skreets" with their "homies"

so basically if we somehow fuse this stuff and kevlar and make clothes out of it, we`ll all be safe.

I heard that twisted hair strands were stronger than steel of the same thickness.

I don`t believe it.

"I heard hair is indestructible besides extreme heat ( like dissolving/breaking it up, not tearing in two or something like that)"

if that were the case, then there would be tons of hair just lying around from our ancestors and ourselves.

"I wonder what the moral of this story is."

Hair sewn clothing is going to be the next-gen bullet armor of the future =D

Most likely, the bullet went through the seat headrest before it hit her weave. That could slow it down quite a bit.

Or it could have ricocheted off of a metal part of the car first.

It also could have been an undercharged round (not enough gunpowder or impure gunpowder). This usually results in the bullet getting stuck in the barrel, but sometimes they just come out at traveling too slow to do any real damage.

She said it hit her hard, so I`m thinking it was just slowed enough by the headrest, and finally caught by the weave.

"Shenanigans, something other than her weave saved her life whether it traveled through a few dry walls or what. A direct shot to the head, even if you had a material strong enough to spread the energy would crack your skull."

Troops get shot in the head all the time, that`s why the helmets are made of Kevlar.

What in hell is that weave made of? Or did the bullet just have his pride and said: "Me no go head shot in this one!" You surely can understand the bullet.

I did not know that weaves were that durable. I need to get me one of those. Maybe all cops should start wearing them as well? I think it might also add to the intimidation factor.
