"I`m no expert but it was probably fake. Just like every other missions into space ever made by mankind."

Of course, how could I be so silly. That`d explain why my GPS device, satellite phone, and satellite TV don`t work.

It`d also explain the moon rocks brought back from the majority of the moon missions. And the fact that companies like Virgin are actually planning commercial space flights (albeit very short ones). Buy yourself a ticket on one of these and go up yourself in a few years when they open - then tell us it`s fake.

Lol Groogle. "Take a telescope and get a view of the international space station. I will wait." I`ve seen the ISS a couple times. Its hard to catch a picture with a telescope because it is moving very fast. But, it happens all the effing time. Heres one
Oh look, heres another!
Heres one while it crosses infront of the sun, notice the shuttle, which is certainly full of astronauts.

Groogle... You are terrifyingly stupid.

Hey, I-am-emo, your remark was pretty much irrelevant to the discussion. He meant that I only complained about the US, but my comment was just an example of how every society built by humans (and there obviously is no other kind defined through laws, currency, etc. or at least not on Earth that we know of that`s directed in the same way as with humans) undeniably has some kind of flaw -if not thousands of them- and will seize its chance to drill another country into the ground if it makes its own look better. So they`d better shut up about China (not that China doesn`t have any flaws at all). This is general knowledge for me. Plus, after the repetitive use of "we`re all humans and we have good sides and bad sides", you should know it`s only natural that when there`s crime, there`s humanity. I never said I had philosophical insight, if that`s what you wanna make out of it, go ahead.

PS: as for the use of smarty-pants, think of how Ash in Army of Darkness said "fancy-pa

Groogle, there was a fat, greasy slob of a kid in my school named Frankie Hitchcock. He believed in zombies, UFOs, and all sorts of implausible conspiracy theories. He also believed that multiple wars, moon landings and even the holocaust were faked. He was the joke of the school, and you remind me a lot of him.

You can try as you might but you will never see a man wearing a space suit floating in space with your naked eye even if helped with a telescope.

It`s really convenient that they show them to you on TV and now on the internet.

I`m no expert but it was probably fake. Just like every other missions into space ever made by mankind.

It just make sense when you think about it.

Question: Why fake space exploration?

Answer: Because you pay a lot of money for it and if that money is kept and the event is faked a lot of profit is made.

I wouldn`t be surprised if those people could finance a whole secret society just with that cash.

If you dont believe me then prove me wrong. Take a telescope and get a view of the international space station. I will wait.

Well, why pick on America? It`s usually America-bashing we see here, or the occasional pop at Europe. That`s just how things are. To defend one and not another is to be hypocritical, really.

Owanie: I stand by two of my statements unconditionally. First, you are obviously an intelligent individual. You live, according to your profile, in Belgium. As I understand it, Dutch and French are the main languages there. ou, however, have more mastery of the English language than most people in the US.

Second, at your age, there is no way you can have the education to completely understand the world and how it works. I`m not saying that you`re stupid, or incapable, or that you`re wrong or dismissible just because you`re 16.

I`m saying that you haven`t been exposed to enough education, both classroom and real world, to know as much as your posts make me think you think you do. Heck, at 39, I don`t know that I have enough education, either.

Unless, of course, you`re even smarter than I am giving you credit for, and you`re a college graduate already, in which case, I apologize.

Oh, and as for my error: Firefox only does spelling, not grammar. :)

"By the way, you can say sh*t instead of poo you know. Thinking you`re from the southern US, it just makes you sound more of a moron."

FYI:

I see you are relatively new here, so let me clue you in. The mods have an automatic word check for profanity. It changes it automatically. At first you hate it and disagree with it until you start noticing how dumb Ebaumsworld is (because they allow anything). Then you get tired of having to type special characters like "Sh*t" and "F#CK" all the time. Instead, the people that have been around the while just tend to pick the language up. When I see "poo" I know what the person meant. The only time it can get confusing is when someone types "cock" (C*ck) because you may not necessarily know if they are talking about a man-sausage or a very dumb bird.

Carry on!

I say I`m 70 & over for no other reason than lack of creativity, and a silly attempt to be "funny". When people look into my profile or my picture, they`ll obviously see that I`m not. Plus, it`s all relative. I`m interested in music and subjects a lot of people of my age wouldn`t bother looking into. I know a lot of our lives is defined through fear; fear of not knowing, fear of ourselves, fear of death, and in a way fear of life. It`s much easier to to be angry at people because they`re angry at you than to think about your mistakes and try to realize that those people for a reason. To say that I do not have education to understand the way I think I do is not justifiable; no education teaches you how the world works, and whatever it is that makes you think I think I know how the world works, you don`t know how I think the world works. I can only tell how I work and how many things that I see work, but it`s only a matter of perception. There is no truth. That`s undeniable

Rick S, it`s exactly my point that we all have our ups and downs. That`s what I mean with "we`re all human". My comment is but a critique to the western commentary on rising Chinese power. I think it is misplaced. I`m supposed to let it slip and let everybody express their "opinion" on the issue, while I can`t go out and say the exact same about America. I realize that I do not have the knowledge that is required to understand the world. I`m spiritual in a few meanings of the word, however. I know people from my surroundings, all older than me, from whom I get a lot of information on different subjects such as unemployment, for example. I see things from a lot of different perspectives. This does not mean that I do not like to base things on empiric knowledge. But I have my views on people, and have known my ups and downs.

Owanie: First, why does your avatar say you`re 70 and over, if you`re really 16? Strange. Second, if you are only 16, you don`t have the education (although from your vocabulary, I would not hesitate to say you certainly have the intelligence) to possibly understand the world as a whole the way you think you do.

The US is not perfect, by any stretch, but as you said yourself, all countries and continents have their issues. We certainly don`t have the history of human right violations that China does. That`s not to say we have no history of human rights violations. G-Bay is a perfect example.

It`s not a matter, really, of who`s better, who`s worse, who lies more, or who fakes more. It`s all a matter of personal preference. I love it here. I`m willing to put up with our short comings (and we do have them). I can`t say good or bad things about your home, because I`ve never been there, and don`t know.

Bottom line, we all have our good and our bad. Even me. Even you.

Well splur I could start about every continent and country in the world and human failure. I`m no conspiracy theorist, and I only suggested that people would get angry at me if I`d tell them that the American moonlanding was fake... Europe certainly is blamable for a lot of things, haha. Belgium`s not a holy place. For instance, watch at Congo. Or how the flemish wage a verbal war with the southern part of Belgium purely because of linguistic differences, whereas countries like Canada never had any problems concerning that matter. My only point was that whatever your view is on China, it is based on phantoms of a land that surpasses your own in these times. It is based on phantoms because what you see is but a spectre of the truth, and only an interpretation. Next time you bitch about China, why don`t you look at how corrupt your own country is. Fine, talk about Europe all you want, I don`t care. We`re humans, that all that counts for me.

Yeah let`s all laugh at China. They`re totally growing and becoming the new superpower and America`s crumbling down. Let`s all think America`s progressive now cause they have a semi-black president. Let`s all believe they will be able to change everything. How many people would start bitching to me when I`d say that the moonlanding was faked? Let`s forget about that one, cause now we all have the China scapegoat. Heck we even blame them for things they can`t even help, like that guy that murdered those other people at the Olympics. I remember people saying "You stay classy, Beijing" on IAB. Yeah, you too America, with your police brutality and Santa-claus killers, school-shooters, moron presidents and an overall IQ of how much is it, 70? What about the cults, economic hitmen, and let`s not forget about the endless struggles and wars that made your country what it is today? You stay assh*les, Americans.

revdrdark Space suits are made to not admit air like scuba tanks. Therefor there would not be tons of bubbles. What the bubbles are coming from are little pockets in the metal that had yet to be filled with water and them moving it around released the air or from other sources as such. Space suits DO NOT put out air like a scuba tank. So no, there would not have been a thousand of them.

The video was fake, go watch any real American or Russian space walk and you will notice a huge differences between the real ones, and that laughable horrible fake one there.

All of the arguments in that video are bogus. The "bubbles" are random paint chips and crap that get knocked loose. You see that on american missions. The earth is in the same place because the camera is mounted on the spacecraft, which is in a stable orbit. The clouds aren`t moving fast - the spacecraft is flying over the clouds at high speed because it`s in orbit! The flag movement does not behave as if underwater, but in a vacuum, being moved around by the astronaut. It seems to keep its momentum when moved, as it would in a vacuum. This is an example of the ignorant misleading the ignorant.

> possibility that it will light a fire under our space programs collective ass and get them moving on space exploration

Forget it, space is dead and sci-fi is just fictional and always will be. In case you didn`t realise it, the last time anyone left orbit was 1972, just 3 years after the moon and 37 years ago. We went, we found space was empty cold and useless, and far too big to EVER go anywhere else, and abandoned it then turned our attention to satellites that make life here on Earth easier. That`s the cold harsh reality of space. There never will be another "space program" and things like missions to Mars are just to justify the kazillions spent on a giant white elephant.

The Chinese government seems terrified of any sort of `failure` thus at the Olympics they broadcast a fake firework display, afraid that the live one wouldn`t be perfect. Could this not be similar?

So they did actually go into space and do a space-walk. But the government didn`t trust that the footage would be good enough so had a prefabbed one handy?

Just for the record, I think the fireworks weren`t that bad. That only faked a couple of the footprint-fireworks in order to prevent danger to the helicopter taking the picture.

"how ironic, seeing as how the actual word "china" is in fact Spanish for "fraud" or "false"."

That`s not irony. That`s called a coincidence. Irony would be if "china" was the word meaning "truth" or something.

At least this will give some more fuel for the fake-moon-landing conspiracists.

The point of their fake launch was not to trick the world, but to trick their own people.

Rick S, The `fake moon mission evidence` wasn`t evidence of anything. The difference here is that we know we went to the moon, since we planted a mirror there to bounce a laser off of, and we took back rocks.

Ok, so the video convinced me. So what? We`ve already been to space. Its not like they faked a mars mission... And aslo, we know that the Chinese like to fake stuff already, as yofuzzy says. Also, if the Chinese can`t get into space, yet they want to and have the money, why can`t we just tell them how its done, or better yet just sell them the technology. Its not hard, and we are in a global community, whats with all this competition?

SeamonkeyX: There were accusations that the Chinese Olympic Gymnasts were not old enough to compete, and their ages were faked.

BlackiPod: Everyone has a love hate relationship with China. We hate their political system, and the human rights record, but love their cheap labor that gives us our electronics at a price we can afford.

I have a hard time believing that this video is fake. The evidence certainly seems to be there, but people have been saying our landing on the moon was fake since it happened, and offered all kinds of "evidence". Could it be that the evidence in this video was faked? I just don`t know.
