plus makes it harder of course for mice to nest in there.

^^^

I dont know where the hell you live, but ive never had a mouse in my house, never mind having to worry about one "nesting" in my mattress.

"Um, actually its nothing to do with comfort, its hygiene, the bed being raised off the floor allows air to circulate and stops mold, dampness and general unhealthiness in the mattress, plus makes it harder of course for mice to nest in there. Air is warmer higher up, at floor level you catch colds easily. Try putting your mattress on the floor for 12 months and you`ll see why beds are raised."

And you`re gonna show me evidence that any of these are major issues in Japan?

Even saying "jury duty" for the millionth time would be better than "godzilla"

WTF?? This chick`s delusional! It`s sad.

And what the hell`s with her employers? I`d have to have a better excuse than "Godzilla" to take the day off work.

I wonder how her parents really died (if they`re even dead...)

I expected this to be funny. It wasn`t. That was a waste of time, and I almost never say that.

I had trouble sleeping on just a mattress once, but that was because having the box springs would`ve been nice. It was just too flat to be slept on alone.

Bed frames protect the mattress from a bunch of stuff. Wet floors, insects, rodents, etc.

Modern days however those aren`t as big an issue. We have other ways of dealing with them.

well the main thing i think bed frame does is to make bugs a bit harder to get onto the bed.

"its stupid that japanese people still sleep on matresses on the floor"

Why is it stupid? It`s not like it`s any less comfortable. I`ve done it here in the states, and there was nothing wrong with it.

And besides, why do you really need a bedframe? To hold you up higher? What does that do?

"Meh, this was just subtitled over something else. Easy and boring."

I don`t think it was subtitled over anything else, considering that what I understood matched up with the subtitles...

ON TOPIC:

I was waiting for the comment about "job security" near the end, lol.

Other than that, pretty dull...

Actually, I don`t think it was. Wait... unless they dubbed over it, too. o___o`

Godzilla ate whatever humour I was supposed to derive from this.
That`s the joke.
Right?

Well, it gave me something to do either way. That`s cool. :|

Poor woman. I know how she feels. My daily commute to University is frequently interrupted by giant badgers.
