Actually, I`m not using PowerTab or GuitarPro or anything. I played each note once on my guitar then constructed the song in editing.

It`s funny... making the song took longer than editing the pictures together!

awesome. too bad he used software to make play the song itself. you can tell, the guitar sounds horribly fake

I think people misunderstood what was going on here.

the point wernt that he was gonna play a bunch of notes then clip them together, the point was taking pics of HIM PLAYING the notes, not audio record the note, but just take pics.

awesome clip,

so he did a fun job. powertab is a fun tool and he used it A-OK. atleat i think so :3

"Remember the guitar player who took one photo for every note"

hes playing the guitar in real life. but do you think itd make sense to clip 1600 hundred pictures. and then 1600 audio clips together when power tab would make it easier to hear.

the audio isn`t even him playing its a guitar tab software called powertab, i can tell because the sound of his guitar is very fake.... plus i used to use powertab

Woah, that must have required LOTS of patience oO
Makes me think that I`d like to hear someone playing the Flight of the Bumblebee for real (yes, that`s the title of the song)...

That is definitely a sign of patience, playing a several minute song in the course of a day? that is pretty cool.

Good song too.

Hm, that was pretty good. Musically pleasing, fun to watch... too bad he won`t take his sunglasses off.

I wonder if he`s from Australia...

"If this doesn`t get me a girlfriend, nothing will"

You might want to try a more romantic song...little slower paced, maybe a Bach concerto.

proof that bumblebees will never sound good on a guitar.

Captures the essence of General Midi attempts at replicating the guitar; perhaps, according to Maxell, because that`s what he`s doing? It sounds like audio "pictures" were taken as well, but he makes no mention of that..

dont know why my post posted twice but to levorto:

i know exactly what he`s doing.

the only problem with his method is its JUST stop motion, which like i said, EVERYONE has done before. it appears to be fake because its very misleading, in his original video(if he did them the same way) it seemed like he was claiming he played a bunch of different chords and edited them together to sound like a real song. but really all hes doing is taking pictures of those chords and then adding the music later, which is much easier to do and doesn`t really require any musical talent.

if you`ve seen some of the musical stop motion videos out there you`d understand why i say this video is fake.

my personal favorite is Amateur by Lasse Gjertsen

if your not actually going to play the real audio it just seems like a waste of time, try making a different type of stop motion

A. Theyre called frets.

B. He couldnt play that speed normally, so it is indeed fake.

re::maxell::

Ummm... It`s called stop-motion. He`s gripping the exact bars on his guitar. So each time we see a new picture of him with his guitar, it corresponds with the note he`s picking...

He then later adds the sound of his guitar.

Can`t see why that`s "fake"?

omg guys i can`t figure out how this works. Sometimes, his arms seem to teleport they are going so fast

so if hes taking a picture that means his videos are fake and not the real audio. because last time i checked pictures do not contain sound.

if he means he takes a short video for each note then it make sense, other wise he`s doing the same thing every other person in this world has done.
