I felt douchey vibes as well, but to be honest I think the house is different and really cool. I`m a sucker for modern housing.

I don`t like it really. Just not my thing I guess. It`s neat how it works and the design though.

I just want a house on top of a hill, made of cinderblocks, with wind, water and solar power charging a battery of capacitors, and a backup [bio]deisel generator.

Fire-proof, flood-proof, hurricane-proof, no electric bills, and fairly green to boot.

"No privacy. Why would you want that?"

The sliding exterior could cover the rest of the house, leaving only a view into the house from the normal windows and from the front part that was still all glass, which could only be seen head on since the walls slid extra far, but that view still would only let you see that living room on the second floor and the kitchen wall on the first. The bathrooms and bedroom are still blocked off I`m sure, plus it`s in the country. So there`s definitely privacy available if they want it.
