Submitted by: fancylad 8 years ago in Weird

Apparently, drinking and swinging your kid around is a problem in Australia and they need a public service announcement.

I swear these ads terrify me.
I`ll eventually just hole myself up in my room and never drive, or go to family events again..
But yeah, these need to be played in America. They get the point across beautifully! Thanks Australia. =]

"no matter how drunk he was I feel sorry for if that really happened because you know later they would truly realize and just be miserable as hell"

I think it did really happen. And the camera crew were just filming random things in case something might make a good PSA. And the family of the boy didnt mind it being aired. And the fact that you cant see any cameras in any of the shots is most likely because they asked the man to do that drink thing again so they could cut to a new angle. Yeah that`s probably it.

Um.. Maori`s are native to New Zealand, not Oz. Everyone in the ad looks Maori, not just her. And the website is ".nz". I think we`ve established that its from New Zealand, so that changes everything - that guy was just doing a public service by protecting future generations of sheep.

O.K. what patent wasn`t watching their kid, and why were kids at an adult drinking party? I never let my kids near drunks. Hello, sorry, but a sitter will only cost you 20 bucks and it will save you a lot of grief.

If you`re gonna swing, don`t drink. If you drink, don`t swing.

Months ago I read something about an australian dude who was arrested because he posted a video on some site of him swinging his kid in his living room. Wonder how much controversy that generated around there.
