Outfire, it`s probably because she wants to look like her parents. There`s nothing wrong with a little kid wanting to emulate their parents, it`s completely natural. I`m sure she`ll get bored of WoW soon enough and move on to something else.

yeah this girl don`t know shat about WoW. bad parenting for some stupid mother to try and portray her kid as some prodigy gamer (as if that would even be impressive), who will probably end up wasting their life on the damn thing before they even realize they ever had one. gah

Why is the kid wearing a headset? She can`t be talking to anyone, she can probably barely form a sentence as it is, and even then I only use it when i raid with my guild/sometimes in instances. I can`t help but call bs on this one.

I used to be annoyed to death because of the "keep kids off games! It`s dangerous! Icecaps are going to melt! Judgement day will come! They become murderers because of it, and-it-has-nothing-to-do-with-the-fact-that-their-parents-are-drinking-and-fighting-24/7-if-not-divorced!"

But come to think of it, I agree!
Keep the annoying, high-pitched devils off our games!

@ Fuego

Impossible in Northshire as its Alliance territory and she would need to be pvp flagged, which is unlikely as she thinks warlocks are a melee class.

This video sucks and the text is misleading as the kid is just a puppet for her annoying mother holding the camera.

DONT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY WOW!! PERIOD!

Its kids that ruin the community and cause much un-needed drama in groups/guilds!

thats why i didnt like WoW D: the kids spoilt it.

Oh cvome on, letting your kid play something they were curious about watching you play isn`t exactly the worst parenting decision ever.

quite, i play eq2 and my son has had a go (he is 6) he just nuked stuff, now he has had a go he finds it boring! lol! probably cos he didnt really get what he was meant to do.

Doesn`t really look like she`s playing the game. She doesn`t even know what to do and in addition choosing warlock, doesn`t she know that it`s pretty boring class?

meh my friend`s older brother lets his 5 year old play and he`s pretty good at it. and this wouldnt be bad parenting if it didnt seem like the mom was trying to make her daughter play.

I don`t understand why it would be bad parenting for a child to be playing a game.
0
Reply
Male 503
hmm, i know parents on other games like WoW that let their kids play. but i think its just because they want to do what their parents are. im sure this kid isnt doing this for any extended period of time. so i say not bad parenting

not a bad parenting decision, kids play computer games all the time, it will however be a bad decision if the kid stops doing thinga normal child wud be doing such as playing with friends general childish activity

Nothing wrong that I can see.

Youngest MMORPG player I ever encountered was on FFXI, he was like 6, but his parents played right alongside him...literally. His mom and dad both played their characters next to his all the time. I even did a BCNM with them all in my party. Pretty good WAR for a 6-year-old.

Baalthazaq: "Oh cvome on, letting your kid play something they were curious about watching you play isn`t exactly the worst parenting decision ever."

I can see it now....

Daughter: "Whatchu drinkin` dad?"

Baalthazaq: "Uh... fire water, punkin."

Daughter: "Can I have some?????"

Baalthazaq: "Well.... go take those hooker boots off first because you`re making marks on that new hardwood floor you paid for, then you can have a sip of daddy`s burnin` juice. But, fire up World of Warcraft for me before you do that, eh sweety?"

hehehehehe

what a waste of valuable wow playge time....i could be in naxx now, but i wanted to get my daily fix of iab and facebook out the way first.

cmon, she sarted a lock because her mother plays the dumb feckers, and the videos not really showing her play wow. a blind person can play it at lvl 1...if she was level 70+ then i`d worry

OK when the little cutie wants to play all day long and they won`t let her and she throws a hissy fit when and where she`s wants... THEN I can make a judgment call on good or bad parenting. Don`t get me wrong, its cute and all but some decisions are up to the parent whether it be bad or good.

I thought the ending was sort of cute. "I`m not gonna get another one, I`m gonna go swimming!" I agree with Baalthazaq, she was probably just curious about the game her parents were playing, so they allowed her to try it out. If anything it`ll help her learn simple keyboard controls. I mean, let`s face it, technology is taking over and it`s important to get kids involved with computers at a young age.

Maybe it`s GOOD parenting, you know how that theory goes that if you push books on children at too young an age, they`ll hate reading when thery`re older, maybe it could be the same thing here? O.o
