Technically, it`s not the longest suspension bridge, but the longest suspended span (the part between the towers.)

Splurbyburbl, if you knew anything about bridges (great, now I feel like a nerd), you would know that suspension bridges are not even on the same playing field as other types of bridges. It`s like comparing the landspeed world record with the airspeed world record.

Tenside Stresses ftw!

Btw, this is from the show "big bigger biggest", and I`ve been trying to find episodes online for weeks. Not that any of you care...

"Now you know: there`s no such thing as earthquakes, it`s just a load of workers who got bored and started dancing for no apparent reason."

You`re totally right man. It`s those damn Asians at it again!

I sincerely doubt that 100 tiny asians can replicate an actual earthquake in any way.

Now a hundred fat americans...

The US tried attacking Japan with an Earthquake to remove Japan`s record-holding bridge from existence...

The result? The bridge is longer.
