You mean as opposed to the metaphorical physical movement of a football stadium?

I have to admit I was hoping that the entire section of seats was going to collapse.

Big deal. I can move the entire Earth all by myself. All I have to do is jump (Go ahead and Jump!). The Earth will move away from me as I push off it, and then back up towards me as I come back down. It`s basic Newtonian physics.

i was hoping they would move it.. like across the lot or something. this happens at all home games in college.
go human power

That sounds like basically the same thing as this video with out the entire crowd chanting. I mean yeah, you get the student section who will do this kind of thing 90% of the time at ncaa games, but this was the entire home section doing it. I guess i need to look of the ucf crowd on youtube and see how it compares.

Who would have thought the power of 2000 humans stomping in unison could be dangerous to a poorly built stadium?

"If everyone in China and India jumped up and down at the same time Earth would be shot off it`s axis."

False.

Gotta say, there isn`t a single sporting event in the US that compares to the crowd intensity of the major football stadiums. I`ve been to the big house and watched a Michigan vs Michigan State game, and Michigan vs OSU and it compares to nothing that i`ve seen at some of these football stadiums. Eurotrip got it right when they called them Hooligans.

It`s the fans of a German football team called Eintracht Frankfurt.

Speaking of thousands of football fans working together to create an incredibly impressive effect:

Every time I hear it, I get shivers down my neck. It`s even better when you`re there and can see the sea of green and white for yourself.

Mon the Hoops :D

Lyrics to the song theyre singing:

Här var det hoppsan hejsan,
här ska du se på mejsan.
Kan å kan du gissa,
kan du gissa vem jag är?
Vill å vill du veta
vad en sån som jag kan heta?
Strunta i att fråga
för jag säger som det är.

Här kommer Pippi Långstrump,
tjolahopp tjolahej tjolahoppsan-sa
Här kommer Pippi Långstrump,
ja, här kommer faktisk jag.

Har du sett min apa,
min fina söta lilla apa.
Har du sett Herr Nilson,
ja han heter faktisk så.
Har du sett min villa,
min Villa Villekullavilla
Vill å vill du veta,
varför villan heter så ?

Jo, för där bor ju Pippi Långstrump
tjolahopp tjolahej tjolahoppsan-sa
där bor ju Pippi Långstrump,
ja,

Like Adoras said it`s probably made to bounce like that because it should be able to withstand earthquakes, for example an aeroplanes wing`s is shaking so that they won`t break in the middle of the flight.

This just shows when people decide to work together they can do anything!

Male 265
i bet thats part of the design, like when they design buildings that can withstand an earthquake, it must be flexable

Lucky it didn`t collapse or i`am sure it would have killed most of them.
