How dumb. But I guess that`s what make artists unique.

It`s sad that iamboredtoo needs to pick on tiny, insignificant details to make himself feel better about himself.

All I could think was "He`d be great at wrapping presents." You know, untill he said he couldnt move his fingers and that he was scarred and stuff. Poor guy, must really like doing it to put up with that pain.

Iamboredtooo, I`m American, and I am exceptionally intelligent. I just don`t enjoy going around on websites flaunting it like a flaming douchebag, as you seem to do.

He views all the artists that use duct tape as hacks.

If i was about to start making a *piece of art* from 400 rolls or sticky tape i would get one ot those hand help tape guns. Shame this guy couldnt afford one might have prevented the "scars and RSI"

skittler : "sticky tape....as opposed to non sticky tape?"
aust4beer:
"Isn`t all tape sticky?"

Of course tape can be non-sticky. what sort of education did you have? you MUST be American.

Anything flexible with length exceeding its width, and with a height which is negligible when compared to its height and width is tape.

Some real-world examples of when you might have heard the word `tape` in a non-sticky context:
tape measure
tape worm
cassette tape

If his OCD won`t let him stop, and his doctor won`t have him committed, will someone buy this `artist` a tape dispenser?

I would`ve liked to see more of him making his art, not just random close up shots of how shiny it was.

No, not all tape is sticky. That`s just the association we make because we commonly call sticky tape just "tape."

However, tape is actually a very general word, and there are many things that are called "tape," not just the adhesive tape we`re used to.

As for the vid... How does he color it? I didn`t know there was green sticky tape, and it doesn`t look like it`s paint or anything...

I tend to find that sculpturs made from oustside in look better than the other way around. Also i wonder if anyones ever melted the end of the sticky tape to the roll so he could never find it.

"Waste of time much?"

Considering museums are buying his work, and people are paying money to look at it. No he is not wasting his time any more than any other artist.

I think it`s awesome. Not a waste of time at all. If that`s what makes him happy, he should do it.
