Wasnt The Result Of This Him Simply Needing Vitamin D Tablets? Or Am I Thinking Of Another Tree Man?

Also What The Hell Is Wrong With You Yellowsquare?
The Man Is Not Even That Bad Looking. Just Strange

This isn`t fake. It was on the discovery channel as it says in the article. I can`t even imagine...

It would be tragic, if it were true. I call phony phenanegans on this one. Oh yes, and Fotoshop too.

I`m so sad for this poor man. Though I was happy to read at the end that he no longer has to work in that "freak show" to make money. It`s nice that people reached out to assist him.

Oh that`s just sad...

My will for the human race has slowly been going away today.

this freaks me out quite a bit because of this comment "warts were the result of severe Human Pappiloma Virus (HPV) infection" i recently got a planters wart and its mildly uncomfortable i can only imagine the pain this man is in.

Reminds of the film Creepshow.
Very tragic, and my best wishes to his full recovery!

yellowsquare, whats more sad then "this guys" affliction is that you`re probably not even half the person as "this guy" is.

Out of all the disgusting, terrible, and wrong things that are floating on the interwebs, I cannot look at a picture of this guy. I would rather watch 2 Girls 1 Cup and then watch some bot fly infection be lanced than see one picture of this guy.

It gives me the willies just thinking about him....

I am speechless looking at him, thats amazing, and awful at the same time.

I am curious how he gets his clothes on though, also, does he feel things through the warts? or is it like a protective covering?

At least he said he was able to use a cell phone. Yippee! Too bad his name isn`t Joshua. Bono would surely help him out.

... and now my Christmas wish is for this man. It must be a very hard, lonely life. I`m glad some of his family still take care of him. But, I`d still feel lonely, I think.

Concentra, while that joke was uncalled for, don`t flame him just for that. First of all, you`re just assuming he`s single. Second of all, don`t pick on him for the age on his profile, since you`re probably lying yourself about being over 70.

I remember watching the documentary they showed of him on TLC and feeling so sad watching it. I was so hoping that they could find something to cure him completely...

Yea, i remember this guy`s story was posted a while ago on IAB. I didn`t get a chance to read it though (squeamish friend didn`t want me to :) ) and i`ve only signed up recently. good to see that he`s getting along though, i hope his condition improves.

I would imagine the doctors didn`t treat him as aggressively in the first meeting as they will the following ones - they want to see how his body reacts first.

He doesn`t look that bad, to be shunned by neighbors. Was this the original tree man from a ways back? If so then this guy looks worse. He should plant himself and see what happens.

That poor man. But at least it`s not fatal and he can now get treatment for it, even though it sucks he`ll have to have 2 surgeries a year for it.

the treatment isnt working though... it has to be impossible to be able to do the simplest human functions... its horrible that happened to him.. way to bring in christmas!
