alright ,, there`s two mistakes

the letter of the alphabet question should be

"the alphabet" in quotation marks,,, that way you are actually counting the seventh letter of the words in quatations instead of asking a straight up question.
That`s why he has the answer as H. He just forgot the quotation marks. lol nice.

and about the nickel question...

it says one is not a nickel... but there are two coins so if it said neither is a nickel then you`d be stuck. But one out of two, still leaves one-- the other one.

I haven`t read all the posts but there is an error here...

The 7TH letter of the alphabet is not H it is actually G.

Yes, of course, but the Pilot question is still impossible, beca«use it would not happen, therefore, you can`t pilot a plane in an impossible situation, therefore, your name doesn`t matter, therefore, not possible.

KoalaNeatPie - "mag316 - ON the other side of an infitly long ravine is a 300$ bill, all you have is a tree and an infinitly long rope, there is nothing else on the other side, how do you get there?

Answer: No such thing as a 300$ bill."

Or you could fill the infinitely deep ravine with your infinitely long rope.

I mean, neither of those things exist either, but why not use my imaginary objects in an imaginary situation to get an imaginary item? :P

There is a problem:
Coins Question - says one is not a nickle, doesn`t say one must be a nickle. Therefor, 3 dimes is a correct answer.
Also, what is the logic behind the blind man question?

~*xox*~

The correct answer is actually a nickel and a quarter. First of all: it asks you how you can get 30 cents with only 2 coins. This rules out "3 dimes is a correct answer". Second, it says that only one of the coins is not a nickel - doesn`t mean the other coin isn`t.

The blind man question - this question is trying to trick you. The first man that walked in is mute so he has to signal what he wants. The next man is blind, but isn`t mute, so he can say exactly what he`s looking for.

The alphabet one was worded particularly badly with a terrible use of grammar. I know it`s meant to be a riddle but they still needed to clarify `the alphabet` otherwise it`s anyone`s guess. They even could have got away with wording it "What is the 7th letter in alphabet" and had the answer be E.

Also I still don`t get the question about the kids having the same parents. I can see how they may share the same parent but surely not parents. Also I take it not being twins also includes Siamese.

I got four questions wrong.

1- Chicago to New York with a Quick Stop over at miami?

Hello?

Impossible as per what is said in the question.

- And I /am/ a Pilot, I speak as an authority on that one..

2- Lee`s Father - yeah I walked right into that one, teaches me to read the question.

3- What is the 7th letter in the alphabet? A1 C2 C3 D4 E5 F6 G7 - H? Why H? Thats the 8th letter. - OH I see. You`re an idiot. Not I. - Can`t be placed at fault if you deliberately write something to make people misunderstand. This does not make you smart - It makes you a moron striving for attention.

4- One of them is Not a Nickel? It`s impossible. Plain and simple. "One is a Quarter the /Other/ is a Nickel? See #3. And even there, the way you wrote the answers, it`s still wrong.

You Lose.

Good Day Sir.

> And if after a load of stupid questions you get a seemingly sensible one about the alphabet, and give the answer "G", maybe you should have thought twice.

This is the smartest thing said in the comments so far.

Seriously, with number 8- if they put it in quotes, it would have been painfully obvious. And it couldn`t have been the "e" at all- it`s the seventh letter in <whatever phrase follows the word in, in it`s entirety>. If you were to pick the seventh letter in the word "alphabet" itself, it would have had to have said "7th letter in alphabet" or "7th letter in the word alphabet". And even then, that could be a trick, and the 7th letter would be D.

Bottom line, it`s not "e" because "the alphabet" directly followed "in", and it`s not "g" because 1) putting it quotes would have ruined the trick, and 2) Common Sense- with 10 other trick ones, why go with the obvious answer? It`

I have always disagreed with the airplane scenario. The question is where would you bury the survivors? The one true answer is when the survivors of the crash go on to live their lives and then die later of whatever kills them they would be very where ever there we`ll are family wishes them to be. So yes you would bury the survivors eventually. Life is 100% terminal.

I scored myself at 100% but the test said 80. The were wrong with the alphabet one, which has been pointed out. Also the answer to #5 is impossible, since i`ve never been on a plane (but i don`t know how they would`ve known that.

As far as #10, because of the "or" the question is asking... "Is it possible for two kids to be born on the same hour, day, month, year, and have the same parents, and not be twins" OR "Is it possible for two kids to not be adopted?"

Since it`s possible for two kids to not be adopted the statement is true, so the answer to the question is `yes.`

Wow, it`s quite clear that no one reads the previous comments. Stop explaining number 10, people! Let others go read the past comments like they should.

I don`t know why everyone has such a problem with this. When it`s this obvious that the guy is trying to catch you out on every single question (using classic riddles which most people know), then it`s not hard. Just go for the non-obvious answer. Take the one with the twins - he wouldn`t ask if it weren`t possible. And if after a load of stupid questions you get a seemingly sensible one about the alphabet, and give the answer "G", maybe you should have thought twice.

I`m not really bothering to read the comments, but the only answer that I disagree with was 8, because in order for that technicality to work it needs to be said out loud, otherwise it needs to be:
"what is the 7th letter in `the alphabet`?"
You can`t speak quotation marks, that`s why it works when you`re talking. Anyway I knew that they would have h as the correct answer but I choose g anyway just to be stubborn. I also don`t know how 10 was possible, but whatever, there could be a way, I guess.

for those who dont understand:

1. if the vice president dies, the president is still alive
2. according to the question a green house has green bricks, but a greenhouse is made of glass
3. if john digs a hole, theres no dirt in it
4. if you take away 3 apples, then you have 3 apples, you dont lose 3 because you never had 10 to start with, someone elses did and ur being a jackass
5. if it says "you`re the pilot" and then it asks what the pilots name is, its YOUR name, cuz youre the pilot
6. it lee`s dad, so lee is the fifth child
7. you dont bury survivors
8. its the 7th letter of the next phrase; the alphabet t=1 h=2 e=3 a=4 l=5 p=6 h=7 a=8 b=9 e=10 t=11
9. a blind man can still talk, so he just says that he wants some shoes
10. idk what the real answer to this one is cuz its none of the above, so the answer isnt listed, but apparently there is an answer
11. one`s not a nickel, its a quarter, and the other one is a nickel

The creator if this quiz is a moron.
Question 2: As logic would dictate you need to compleet the list, there is no way to know if he means a house or a actual greenhouse.
Question 8: There are no "" so the question is in the alphabet and not the word "The alphabet".
Question 11: I`m not a American, i don`t know how much a nickel is or a dime. And i don`t want to look it up. Not really universal is it, what a jackass.

Calm down, there, darkhawk.

2. there`s no need for logic. If the creator said a "green house", then yeah, you`d have a point. But "greenhouse" as a compound word specifically means a greenhouse. The fact that it`s made of glass is iffy (I have a plastic greenhouse), but whatever.

8. You have a point there, but quotes would have given it away. Don`t cry just because you got something wrong.

10. If I were doing a puzzle with Euros, or Liras, or Pesos, I would have look

Negative. In order to suggest that we should use the words "the alphabet", those words needs to be in quotes, as in this sentence. As written, the question asks us to count through the alphabet (a=1, b=2, c=3, d=4, e=5, f=6, g=7). The correct answer is `g`. The question is flawed, and thus the test is wrong.

That being said, when I read it, I wanted to answer "Impossible to know without you telling me which alphabet."

free candy - you were almost right with E in "alphabet", but they wanted H in "the alpHabet".

Sharpest - they could be two of three triplets.

miss weasley - the first sentence is "YOU are the pilot..."

Sentinel - imagine a hole the shape of a cuboid. Its dimensions could be 2 feet width, 3 feet length, 1 foot height. (but of course there would be no dirt in the hole, so the answer is 0)

To be honest, when I think about number 10 now I think it`s a crap question. I knew that the answer was that these kids may have more siblings and as a result be triplets or quadruplets or whatever, but when you get just two of these triplets side by side they`d also be twins, although maybe in a different sense of the word. Of course if you just apply some sense then it`s quite clear which answer they want.

And I reckon that the blind man may have walked into the wrong shop to buy shoes. And technically question 8 should have quotation marks around "the alphabet" or put it in italics for the answer they want to be right. 6 Also annoyed me a bit because "Li" and "Lee" are pronounced the same way in Chinese.

Looks like it is indeed a stupid test after all.
