im so sad for knowing that xD
Assuming all they get right is the digits: 1 in 100`000. If you assume the first digit is easy enough that most people should get it, it`s 1 in 10`000. Not that surprising given how many times people guess things on that show.
He retired back in May I do believe.
As for Drew`s reaction? You don`t see how they stopped the show in the video to make sure it was a legitimate bid. A perfect bid has only happen one other time, as unlikely as it is bidding perfectly is still possible. So by the time they got back to the reveal he was pretty much out of any emotion to show towards the event.
In all the years I have been watching the show I have made several bids within a few hundred dollars of the actual price.
Seriously though, why didn`t Drew freak out?
I mean, after that, why would he be surprised about $50,000?
I think he`s a good replacement for Bob Barker- I mean, you can never REPLACE him... but Drew Carey, alright choice.
When the guy picked the right number drew knew. he then stopped the show for like 30 minutes and was talking to the producers about how to handle it. He had known for 30 minutes the answer was right and showed no emotion b/c he had just been arguing over how to handle it for a half hour. Some reporter documented it all
Lol same he kept me quiet
Also, don`t diss Ken Jennings man. That guy is king (though he holds no value whatsoever towards society, but still)
also people are saying that someone in the audience was giving them both hints..
much like they did with Ken Jennings during his super long streak on Jeopardy.
