i haven`t been to high school since 2001, but back then i passed out all these pro-marijuana cards around the students and got suspended for a week. when i protested about my right to free speech and whatnot, these were my principal`s exact words and i quote "You leave your rights at the door." But hey, thats school. Get a real job, and its even worse. Life sucks deal with it. Get high.

I don`t doubt that there`s some shady stuff going on in the government, but I doubt his school is this oppressive machine of controlled order, thats a little far fetched.

On a related noted, does anyone remember that movie Conspiracy Theory with Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts in it? Does he get killed at the end? I can`t remember...

He`s going to lead a miserable life if he thinks everyone is out to get him. When he is 18, he can make his own choices about which laws to follow. Rules and laws protect people.

He has a point with the cell phones. The administration is banning cell phones because they don`t want to be embarrassed when everyone on the Internet sees them being ass holes, when what they should do is stop being ass holes.

I don`t see anything wrong with the history book though, and the whole "9/11 is an inside job" thing is just plain offensive.

I want to beat the crap out of this kid. He complains about surveillance of schools, but they do that for safety. What a little whiny non-nice individual. And one that can`t interperate rules either. I`d like to see him get beat up in a school without cameras, just to see if he` change his conspiracy-laden mind.

Nobody is out to get you. You don`t have anything they want.

If you were rich, powerful, influential, troublesome or sexy, though...

Sorry to burst any bubbles, but the reason schools ban camera phones is because of kids using them to snap locker room pictures. Such pictures are invasions of privacy and child porn.

Has nothing whatsoever to do with not wanting people to know what teachers are saying. Need proof? Does your school ban tape recorders from the classroom? No? Well then, guess that solves that problem, eh?

Three thoughts for the conspiracy theorists:

1: You don`t need to be paranoid. They`re not out to get you. They`re not trying to enslave you or control you or crush your freedom. You`re simply not important enough to bother with. You are a small, meaningless person in their eyes, and the very worst they`ll do is simply not care about you.

2: Conspiracies take a lot of work and skill, which I suspect is beyond the realm of most governments (mine keeps losing laptops full of secret information, for instance) and companies. They`re just not capable of it.

3: Finally, why would they do it? It`s cheaper to go to the moon than to fake it and cover it up, for example. If you wanted 9/11 to happen, why switch jets, use FBI, use missiles, explosives, all that malarky, when you could just turn the other way and leave the door open for someone who already wants to do it? You don`t steal your own car for the insurance, after all. You park it up in a dodgy area with the doors unlocked.

erm... yeah... not really much you can say to something like this, other than these kind of people who look for conspiracies tailor any sort of `evidence` towards their arguement.

Take for example the conspiracy evidences towards the 9/11 attacks, where these type of people created purely coincidental evidence saying there is this huge cover-up, like folding the 100 dollar bill, the wingdings etc etc etc.

There is the fact that governments cover up things to prevent national security and mass hysteria, but to constantly look for something coincidental and then whine about it over the holy internetz does not mean people are going to side with your idiocisms.

Think for yourselves once in a while and do what you want to do and not what society dictates you should do.

kids under 13 should not be allowed on the internet.

----

I agree to a point.
anti-authoritarian dits like this are just stupid. They`ll grow up and move on with the phase, but until then I`m seriously tired of the 14 year old trend where these kids decide going anti-authority is going to be an awesome idea and post crap like this.

Everyone should be required to submit an application to be allowed online. The application will judge the person based on emotional and literal intelligence and those who are extremely ignorant, stupid, careless, or cruel will be denied.

But that`d be impossible and it`s a enforcing to do such.

So banning camera phones from schools, only looking at the phrasing of a title of a high school history book w/o context, and suggested to support your school spirit (since cowboy/cowgirl is capitalized so hints to your mascot) causes brainwashing and banishing of rights and freedoms eh?

A small thought; Wikipedia tells me "The first commercial deployment in North America of camera phones was in 2002". I`m presuming similar is true for much of the rest of the world outside of Japan.

When I was his age (16-18, I`m guessing), camera phones didn`t even EXIST as a product you could purchase (I`m 23).

It`s no surprise, then, that there`s some confusion and, possibly, over-reaction on the part of school managements when it comes to dealing with this technology; it`s only been around for six years, and has been widely popular for even less than that.

For my part, though, I do remember electronics (mobile phones, cameras, CD players, etc) being banned (or at least restricted) at schools I went to. I believe the reasons were that they didn`t want you dicking around with them during lessons, and they didn`t want to have to deal with the inevitable thefts of these items. Which seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Wow. Kid`s griping about not being able to have a camera phone in school? Please. If my school sees anything electronic, they pick it up. If it`s a phone, they make you PAY them to get it back. Or you can get it back 3 months later for free.

I loled at the cowboy/cowgirl statement, though

I had really hoped this wasn`t just another kid trying too hard to find some evil conspiracy to rebel against so he stands out from the "sheeple".

If I were running some kind of massive evil conspiracy, I would love kids like these; they`d make my potential opponents look pathetic by association. Anyone who did get anywhere near the truth could be dismissed by pointing at kids like this and saying "you sound like a conspiracy whackjob, like this kid".

So thank you Loose Change guys, Zeitgeist, and all other wannabe "truthseekers". You`ve all made life much harder for the people with real ability to uncover any mistruths, such as any scientist/expert/investigator looking into 9/11 anomalies (for instance), because they`re all getting mocked for being in the same team as the "aliens/illuminati/molepeople did it" crowd.

the whole reason they won`t let picture phones in school, is because kids will sometimes take pictures of tests, or pictures of answers and cheat. this is not uncommon. This kid has way to much time on his hands. Maybe he should look more into why they make these rules, and less about how the school is "brain washing" them. If he wants to know about brain washing, he should just watch the media.

Ammit13fma: I`m familiar with the concept of New World Order very well, yes, hehe. But every society, every political movement has its negative sides and its positive sides. The New World Order could take on a Big Brother-like role, but as far as we know (if there indeed are such formations), we only know things about them from people that spread intel through the internet. It`s easy to manipulate any proof, or mainpulate any truth as well. The New World Order might well be kept secret solely because of the panic that would be spread after books such as 1984, Kallocain, etc. The truth is we don`t know. And no borders, I don`t know. There surely are positive sides. Plus, was it necessary for us Europeans to be a world nation to invade the Americas and cleanse those lands? Plus, the level of how screwed things would be depend on what man you would put in charge, just like the United States now, only on a global scale.

nafta has been used by corporations, but for some reason, even though mexico is part of NAFTA, we dont have good immigrations relations with them...no, it only works when american companies are trying to find pennies on the dollar labor..

in fact, it almost sees as if they dont want good immigration, since the th so-called "illegals", when they get here have to settle for whatever a employer will pay (sometimes as little as $1.00 an hour)cause hey, they cant tell the police whats happening to them... and of course, this makes it harder on natives, since fewer eployers want to pay a decent living wage.. then, (and this is the worst part) they point the finger of blame at the immigrants! imagine, these poor ppl, long suffering in their own country, come here to find better, and are Fu**ed and then, vilified!
keep searchin, kiddo, eventually, you may make a change

i notice some europeans saying that this was annoying.

i went to an american school, and they are breeding grounds for racism, elitism, facism, and hatred.

and "mal", just because some may misuse a right, that is not a good reason to take rights away.

also, we didnt have the history book i saw him show, but the one we had DID try and project the "war on drugs" as a win for the american people.

i think this kid has the right idea, he`s just young, so his vid is very concise.

to those europeans trying to have an opinion on it, stop. i can tell you as an american there IS something wrong with schools, even though its not an absolute, most educators i have met are just little people that couldnt push their peers around, so they choose teahing to push children around.(THERE ARE EXEPTIONS, DONT GET YER PANTIES IN A WAD!)
also, they teach about NAFTA... a thing the our government only honors when it helps the rich..look it up

So what exactly does the New World Order have to do with a "small-town fascist, totalitarian school"? If indeed the rules of this school are genuine. Plus, New World Order has had - and still has - a whole array of interpretations, to some it`s just a reformation, maybe seperation of church and state. Is that so wrong then? Illuminati died out a long time ago, kid. Things are only a matter of perception. If you`re dumb enough to believe you`re being brainwashed and still do the idiot poo you do every day without breaking free of those shackles and becoming a person that has real illuminating properties, well, whatever dude.

I laugh at conspiracy theorists. Even if their beliefs were true, why are they going off and being the defenders of the people? If they know something about the world governments that no one else does, they would be far better off using that knowledge to get themselves into power, "If you can beat them(which they can`t), join them." That`s what I would do.

as for the nafta superhighway, they have been talking about it for years, but what i want to know is... WHERE THE HELL IS IT? I mean yeah the government is slow, but it`s been 14 years...

Seriously, those that feel the government is evil and wants to control our thoughts, well they`re right, but Television is far more effective at controlling and subduing intelligent thought. It would not be cost effective to do much more.

they decide to go into the city and set up a building, it is called the town hall, or state capital, or (ect).
they then tell everyone that they need to pay a small amount or else they will be punished, they start it of low, then raise it until most of their income goes straight to them. they then offer small services to make them think all their money is helping the people of the city. (roads, police, courts, ect)

then they realize, "Other cities might want to claim ours!!!" they then set up armies to defend the city, the citizens think it is for them, but really it is for the leaders.

this is how government began in... Europe, Greece, Egypt, China, Germany, Scotland, the Aztec Empire, Great Britain, and many others, those are just the major ones. all government descends from these.

oh, and i got that info from

none of the systems really work, governments are inherently evil, now most of you think i am an anarchist, not so, let me explain the roots of government quickly, please note, i have made this simpler and shorter, but it is still the same thing

there are two cities in ancient times and are generally close to each other, one of the cities` villagers are peaceful, the other is a barbarian group.

whenever the barbarians need supplies, they raid the peaceful city, get whatever they need, and go home, whenever they run out, they raid again. this loops on until one day, before a raid, they realize that their way isn`t working as good as it could. so eventually they figure it out

um, almost to the limit, continued on next post

And another little tidbit of info. They lock banks up with Cheap Bike locks. You know glass walled swinging doors with no latches there for no key locks even on the door. They just shut the door put a bike lock through the handles and that`s their lock and key. this is in a mall with thousands of ppl moving through that unguarded space an hour. no one even attempts to steal anything.

I`m currently living in a communist country(CHINA)and I grew up my entire life in Canada. I`m a teacher here so I`m in the schools everyday. They promote the children to do what makes them happy. not just follow along.
In Canada (A FREE COUNTRY) when I taught in the schools it was very much do it my way do what i say.
CANADA IS WAY MORE CONSTRICTING AND "COMMUNIST" AS WERE TAUGHT COMMUNISM IS, THAN A TRUE COMMUNIST COUNTRY.
Everyone in china has a job. The country`s roads and "city owned" property is in MUCH better condition than in Canada.
What this kid is saying is very well how the school system works.
You morons that have obviously been successfully brainwashed to believe that your "system" is working are proof of what he is saying!

An yes I was talking about CANADA the place Americans run to just to escape the increasingly Communist country The United States Of America.
And yes i know this because I spent 21 years of my life gro

Why does this kid think public school is the place to kick against the pricks? He would be better served to wait until college when his opinion will actually matter. (That is if he is able to even develop one further than the stunted, moronic position he holds now).

The only way public schools, especially grades 7-12, can function is to have such rigid rules, or all the little rats like this whiny biatch will start puffing their feathers. School is a place to learn, not fight with administration over stupid rules that you will break anyways.

On the topic of the text book: if this kid thinks he is so smart, then instead of complaining on the the net about it he should come up with some sort of rebuttal and bring it up in class. I`m sure his teacher would love to hear a different perspective than the one he/she is forced to teach.

To little whiny runt with the opinions: either come up with some thought provoking original material on the topic, or stfu. please.

I agree with that statement at its face value. Except for this: This video did not show anyone WHY our public schools are "the worst among developed nations". There is evidence enough for that claim, but this video is not it.

But hey, thats school. Get a real job, and its even worse. Life sucks deal with it. Get high.

this kid gives me confidence in a few things
first- the stupidest thing i have ever done now makes me look like Stephen Hawkins, and
my domination of the world by making everyone think that everyone else was responsible for everything bad, or that the people above you are directly responsible for your problems, will go without a hitch

"I understand this. I`m just saying how they say phones specifically with the ability to take pictures, you can take a picture up a girls skirt with a regular camera just as well a phone`s camera."

This video, much like all propaganda, only shows you the one side of the arument. Only the part that he wants his weak minded viewers and would-be followers to see. I am sure somewhere in the rules of the school other than that highlighted paragraph, that normal camera`s were forbidden as well. They were simply trying to be thorough and specifically cover the cell phone issue.

On another note, all this nonsense no doubt comes from one or both of his parents. He hasn`t a prayer of objective reasoning until later in life.. but I think the damage will be too extensive.

No young one... it is you who is retarded. You see a camera phone can be and has been a huge distraction. Where little boys will try to get a picture of naughty things under an unsuspecting girls` skirt and stupid poo like that. But a phone without a camera is ok to have, but not ok to be abused. Camera`s are an unneeded distraction. While just a regular phone can perhaps be of use when Columbine #2 happens. (They can call for help, etc.)

this kid is dumb. He is WAY overacting about that cell phone thing. The reason you can`t use the camera feature is because it is way to easy to take a picture of someone in the locker room and then spread that around. We had that rule in my highschool and everyone understood why.

And "America in the new world order" is supposed to mean the world after WWII/ Cold War, after American was "declared" the World Super Power.

I`m fine with conspiracy theories, unless they`re this stupid. I officially want to punch this kid in the face.

Overreact much? Yeah, not being able to use your camera phone to take pics can be a nuisance, but it doesn`t say you can`t have a camera phone on school property.

Respect yourself and have pride in your school - what`s so wrong with that? Respecting oneself is usually considered a good thing. Pride in you education is too.

So what about the surveillance. I`m sure it`s nothing compared to big city school`s.

Have to agree - the guy`s kind of a whiny bitch.

Stupid kid. Wow, you finally read your handbook! Note how basically everybody knows that except you! Ok, so this kid is suggesting that schools not having cellphones in class is dictatorship? There happens to be bumper stickers in the bathroom. ZOMG!

This kid needs to study and get a life. I can`t say how badly this pisses me off. Some American kids(or all people in general, to tell you the truth) never think things through. I get some conspiracy theories: the JFK assassination, etc.
But this. I bet he didn`t even read the chapter. It`s probably going to say something about how the U.S was getting into trade with Japan or something like that.

Animecha:

This isn`t borderline retarded, this IS retarded.

And also, if it wasn`t obvious, a new world order is impossible. Too many conflicting sides, interests, ideas and agendas. [/rant]

He is overreacting when it comes to school surveillance. Parents demand their child`s protection....and pride in one`s Country/School/Workplace has been taught for centuries in every country.

However, when it comes to government, I completely understand. I have heard multiple remarks regarding a "one world currency" and the actual words "new world order"/"new world embassy" escape the mouths of newscasters and interviewees. Ideally, it sounds wonderful, but we don`t live in an ideal world.

The guy is overreacting way too much. To respect teachers and staff is completely normal and even necessary, and it`s not like they`re making them take a blood oath to it. As for the cellphones: they are a nuisance in classes and should be off at all times inside school. Being proud of your school is not bad at all; let me bring it to the next level: are you proud of your country? The Constitution (my country`s, that is) says I should. Is it wrong? No. A police state? A little surveillance doesn`t make a police state. Call me when you`re actually repressed, and I`ll care the slightest bit. Bottom line: the guy is a pansy who needs to suffer an actual dictatorship to tell the difference between healthy discipline and raw repression.
Pussy.

This video is borderline retarded. First, I have never met a single human being who talked about a World Order that could give a valid reason as to why a world order would be a negative thing without making leaps in logic about ideas of eliminating human rights. Second, all this kid talks about is how the words "new world order" are in his book without elaborating on what the actual context of it is in his book and how HE has very few rights as a minor. Well guess what... Minors have laws restricting their rights because kids are stupid (as this video clearly illustrates)and need to be protected from themselves. Truancy laws, drinking laws, curfew laws all exist so kids don`t go and get themselves killed. Even then children still have the same RIGHTS as adults under the Constitution of the United States.

People that think like this have tunnel vision and are simply exhausting to deal with.
Long ago when I was in school, we had guides/rules telling us to respect staff, etc. Do you think we took it as some type of holy vow and walked around muttering it? We laughed it off and never thought of it again - but here, he is convinced it is evidence of brain washing.
It. Never. Ends. You are lucky to put together a full sentence without these type of people finding some "sign" within the sentence proving the government is trying to force you to comply with some secretive agenda.

Blah blah blah. Get a hobby.

And before anyone makes a comment, phones aren`t supposed to be in school because they distract from the learning environment. It annoys the piss out of me when I`m taking a test or whatever and someone`s cell phones starts f*cking buzzing. Mostly because I`m audio-sensitive, but still.

I`ve looked through my history book a lot and I haven`t seen anything about a "New World Order," even if I take European History class (it affects the WORLD). In my school we are allowed camera phones as long as they aren`t seen by a teacher (classroom disruption and such) and we also don`t have to be proud of being whatever my school represents (Titans in my case). I could very well hate my school and they can`t do a thing about it.

Hey, squid dude? You can`t have a camera phone in school because you`re likely to use it to either cheat on tests or film beat downs to post on YouTube. And trust me, i know that the `dude is old` comments are coming in response to this, but i`ll be the first to admit that if camera phones had existed back when i was in high school, we would have been TEMPTED TO USE THEM TO CHEAT.
other than that, the points in this video aren`t terribly far off base, he`s just too young to make them strongly enough. oh, and he seems fixated on the 911 conspiracy.
