It`s called Genetic Sexual Attraction and is actually not that uncommon amongst close relatives that have been seperated for most of their lives.

The Sun isn`t like National Enquirer, which is silly obviously fake stuff, but The Sun is just a tabloid and kind of trashy (it has stuff like this article for instance), the stuff in it is usually real but sensationalised and stuff.

"Did any one else like their "Noun...simple sentence" captions?"

The Sun does that all the time.

On topic: JER-RY! JER-RY! JER-RY!

Boredx12 - incest is usually abuse but incest is any sexual/intimate relationship with a very close blood relative. So yes it is incest. It makes you sick doesn`t it.
I have watched a programme about this thing happening between estranged relatives, mother/son, sister/brother, father/daughter etc and it is surprisingly common.

Meh. Old news.

@ Boredx12:
Yes, it does count as that. Incest doesn`t necessarily mean abuse, it`s the act itself.
And in most civilized areas, even that, without any abuse at all, is already punishable.

this is tthe third time Ive heard of people who are very closely releated having a relationship willingly... (The other two were brother and sister). Does it still count as incest? Since incest is usually abuse...

I think its amazing that her own family is telling what they witness, and she still denies it. I bet there are stains and dirty things everywhere, that just happen to be there by coincidence too :P

Oh and Dilldog123: a squaddie is an army recruit, i think the nickname is limited to privates in a squad (hence squaddies)

I read down to where it said they were from Fife, then it all made sense.

You can practically smell them from this side of the river.

Gross.
And no not oedipus.
Oedipus would mean you are close to your mom because she raised you that way.

Oedipus was my thought exactly. and upon reading the other comments, I was not alone.

The only difference was that Oedipus didn`t know that he was screwing his mother until after he had done it... this kid knew before, which makes it all that much worse.

The only comfort I can take in reading this is that it`s from The Sun and therefore is probably completely fabricated... but then I remember someone had to make it up... crap.

I`m not sure you understand when question marks are appropriate...

While I do believe that there are people weird enough to do this out in the world, something about this "news article" is hard to digest.

The Sun is the British equivalent of the National Enquirer here in the US. This story could very well be complete nonsense. And given some bits in it, it probably is.

Still, funny. :P
