Well robots are naturally smarter than humans. we cun`t solve them so we build robots to solve them for us.

If robots are smarter than us, Ty, then why was it a human that built the machine in the first place? Robots are only as smart as those who program them. :P

Computers hold much more information than the human brain because it is programmed and filled with many awesomeness like porno and Mike Mozart. Whereas we could never remember as much poo as we`d like to.
Although humans build things that are smarter than them so it`s like dividing by 0.

That`s true, but the thing is, most machines have evolved through time, so that smart people only contribute to a part of the machine. Just like cars. So it is possible for machines to be smarter than us, because there`s is a collective smartness. Also, they have capabilities that few of us are born with, like being able to recall any information that it ever received almost instantaneously, where as most people can`t say what they had for breakfast 312 days ago and what day of the week that was. They can also do math way faster than us. The only point where they differ than us really, is they can`t learn for themselves, but once AI fixes that problem, we`ll pretty much be an inferior species.

Kind of a violent little guy... isn`t he?

Behold the humble beginnings of the robot take over... They play music, do stip-teases, learn, problem solve...

    We are all f*cked...

    Myke: Not really true.

Programming languages for example are becoming more and more abstract. In 100 years it`s easily conceivable that we could have a programming language that uses everyday-speak.

As such, we could have "Computer, Download all Katie Perry songs for me, and rate them based on their average youtube ranking. Once done, create the perfect Katie Perry song based on any observed patterns".

It does the work, it would take me much longer to do it, and likely do it better.

It`s the like saying "Cars can`t move faster than humans because humans built them". Simply not the case.

You can also build a robot with the lego mindstorms kit and program it to play chess. The only downside is the kits are like $200. (and hard to find) I couldn`t find one annywhere about 5 years ago.

And they have lego robotics competitions for elementary school students. in 6th grade, we built a mars rover to complete different task the real one might have to. Fun times.. ;)
