What a massive waste of money rims have got to be one the dumbest things ever this can`t even be good for the car. I would think changing the tire size like that probably puts different amounts of tourqe on everything.

I have to disagree with you there. The only reason I kept coming to I-A-B was because it managed to have some intelligent people in its forums and, coming from ebaums world and you tube, that was a godsend.

Sorry, I calls `em as I sees `em. Angel, you constantly feel the need to remind all of us that you are from a "biracial family". I for one couldn`t care less.
Who do we think of when we mention drug dealing on the street level.
blacks
Who do we think of when we mention gang and gun violence in the US and Canada...
blacks
Who do we think of when we mention rap music, singing about b!tches and h0`s, disrespecting women, treating them as nothing but objects used and arm candy with bubble butts.
blacks
who do we think of when we think of robberies, inner city violence and crime...
blacks
Who do we think of when we mention thumping stereos and wagon wheels on vehicles??
blacks
Who do we think of when we mention baggy a$$ed pants.
blacks (pull up your damn pants people)
This is what our children are exposed to in todays culture. I for one wish blacks would smarten up.

There... THATS racist. And you`ll agree. I know you will.

Why do you have to generalize a whole society into a negative stereotype like that? Just because we`re on I-A-B means we`re racist? GO AHEAD AND PERSECUTE US FOR OUR HABITS BUT WE ARE A STRONG PEOPLE!

Saying the WORD race is NOT the equivalent of being RACIST. Jesus. I would know better than you about pigmentation and people, my family has more "pigmentation" than the rainbow! Goodness

Sigh... Funny thing is, I see more white kids with rims nowadays... what does THAT mean?

Anyway you look at it, nothing aggravates me more than seeing some jackass, black OR white with $5000 worth of rims on a $300 car.

We`re not teaching ANY of our kids the difference between Guns and Butter.

(For those who don`t understand the "Guns and Butter" reference, please take a few minutes and look it up... and for cryin` out loud... ALL OF YOU, BLACK AND WHITE PULL UP YOUR DAMN PANTS!!!)

And..wow, Why can`t we all see this for what it is? Young people having fun, Guess what? They do it in -every- race and culture. It`s a nice song to dance to, and it`s not talking about drugs or sex, they`re talking about cars. Lets not turn this into a race issue, lets just enjoy the cheek-pinching cuteness (Even though those poor boys would -die- if people thought they were cheek pinchingly cute) And be happy knowing that these kids have enough talent to be the next big thing.

And AWWWW those kids are so freaking cute! I can so see them being the next popular thing.

and zoneking, my family is living proof that not all blacks are included in your warped sense of what black culture is. for u to say black culture is "trying to compensate for years of opression by `having stuff`" means you only see one side of the story and refuse to accept anything else about it. yes we (my family) try to better ourselves but not because our history, but because everyone deserves better as well as to live in today`s society. i don`t know if you do this but i know that i would rather have a nice house or car than something run down if i can get it. you got a lot of nerve to group everyone of the black color into that notion.

Angel25: what i mean is that calling black (or white or asian or whatever) people a race is what is racist. You and me, and every body else for that matter, are human (not a black or a white, but humans). You are perpetuating racial stereotypes by referring to people with the very word race. Black is not a race, it`s pigmentation. But people strive for these sort of retarded in groups, and that`s why we have many problems with racism and xenophobic behaviors.
[/preachy mode]

As for the cultural thing, like it or not, i think that`s how many see it. The whole hip hop culture is often associated with north American black culture, you calling everybody racists won`t change that.

i agree with angel25. i am black and can actually say that not everyone of a specific color think and act in the same way. i for one think rims and other car decorations are the stupidest things on the planet but some of my friends want the biggest they can find. its not fair to judge someone based on their color and the common sterotypes associated with it. everyone is his or her own individual and should be treated as such.

Really, gentlemen, I don`t have issues with anyone but I do feel offended when ANY race is insulted or stereotyped. It`s not easy for people to hear or see these stereotypes about their own race, whether mixed or whatever. So if offense was taken by my comments or my debate with you, then I apologize, no offense was intended.

Zoneking and Megido, Seriously? You two are judging someone you don`t even know. And what in the world was racist about what I said? I was taking a neutral stand stating that you cannot judge all blacks based upon what you see. AND that whites are NO DIFFERENT from blacks or anyone else.

AND RAP and RIMS is NOT a part of the BLACK culture. It may be for some but it is NOT for all. My husband is from New Orleans and he is nothing like what they portray BLACKS to be.

Zoneking, I never said I knew/saw everything. I said I know both sides of the fence. I personally don`t care what race you are. GOD made you and everything else is null and void.

Like I said, Opinions are just that. And I respect your opinions, however I don`t respect that you feel a need to lump all "blacks" together in one category.

I mean, seriously? Are you that intent on arguing with me just because I said that you cannot put all blacks in one category? If that`s racist on my part then so be it. <

I have to agree with zoneking a bit. I can understand peoples being proud of their culture and heritage. After all we celebrate St. Patrick`s Day, Cinco de Mayo, Oktoberfest, Chinese New Year, Mardi Gras, and numerous other ethically originated holiday`s. But now he we have black history month, MLK Jr`s Birthday, etc.. Many blacks not contented with that, It seems, They continuously re-invent "Blackness" in more and more absurd ways. If America is truly a "Melting Pot" they seem to refuse it. Choosing to segregate themselves with their own, While continuing to blame others for their non-integration into the rest of American society.

Angel: the one perpetuating racism here is you, i must say, as you are the only one claiming that black and white are different races.

I`d say that this video here represents something that can be seen as black culture in America (note that that does not include ever black person ever per default), and i assume that`s what zoneking meant as well, though he might have expressed it a bit bluntly.

You also need some reading lessons "angel25". I didn`t accuse you of calling me a racist. Although you`re doing a good job sounding inflammatory just to make a point. And I said nothing of whites not being similar. Where I live it is the blacks that are choosing to live this lifestyle, it is the blacks that are using opression as an excuse to get that government grant, or to push to the front of the line. It is the blacks that are creating this "illusion" of grandure by possessing things which they don`t need, but which the outside world sees them with. They think they are flaunting some type of "wealth" when they thump their stereos and put wagon wheels on their vehicles, but to the outsider it makes them look nothing more than ignorant fools. It all falls back to "read a book, get a job."
Finally Ms. "biracial family - I know everything", what color am I, since you know/see all?

Laughable as the statement was "if the truth hurts honey, you`ll have to look elsewhere for a bandage" I must tell you that you sound bitter.

I don`t need a bandage for your remarks, an opinion is just that. However, if you cannot take someone making a disagreement to your opinions then you shouldn`t be in an open forum. I know what blacks do. And I know how they blame things on whites or whoever else they can. But seeing as how I come from biracial parents I know both sides and honestly whites are not any better than blacks or any other race.

Everyone is responsible for his/her own outcome in life and cannot blame anyone else.

Seriously, if that`s how you feel about the black race though, you need a new profession. Stop visiting their homes and getting ticked off at their life choices. It`s their life. Let them wallow in their own stupidity. It`s not your life.

And for the record, I said "the racist remarks". I never accused you as a person of BEIN

Obama won`t bring a damn bit of change. I will be shocked if he makes it to his inauguration without an attempt on his life. Hell, even blacks were admitting on national television that they only voted for him because of his color for christs sake!!!

And regarding my remarks being racist... if the truth hurts honey, you`ll have to look elsewhere for a bandage. I`m only telling it like I see it every day. If a black is downtrodden, it`s because of the white man. If a black is successful, it was because he crawled through the dirt on his belly to make his life the way it was... the same as the rest of us.

Honestly I don`t care if you`re a black, white, yellow or purple... a redneck, jew, muslim or hindu. If are too busy being a thug, wannabe gangster, drug dealer, welfare recipient or other drain on society take some initiative and do something CONSTRUCTIVE with your life. Get a g**damn education, read some g**damn books and take PART in the world we`re given. Don`t p!ss it away!!

Here is yet another prime example of black culture trying to compensate for years of opression by "having stuff". It doesn`t matter that they can`t afford to feed their families, or have to break the law to make the money for their hobbies.
I visit houses each day for my work, and there is something unmistakably different when I visit the home of a black person.
I pull into the yard, and they have some lexus, cadillac or infiniti sitting in the yard. Who cares if the vehicle isn`t new, who cares if it`s 15 years old!! Hey it`s a "high end" car.

Blacks purchase whatever they can to try and live as "large" as possible. Renting furniture and electronics from ridiculously priced rental stores that they can`t afford to buy (or don`t have the proper credit to finance with) They tend to forget that the run-down house that their 72" TV`s and big stereo systems are in is where they really come from. Over-compensation at it`s finest. Get a grip people

And to now whore myself out... Check out D-RaNGd"

Sorry my friend, any one that can double click and has a copy of some software like Cubase can download a few free VST plugins and end up with some decent stuff if you have the musical know-how, it`s not that hard really.

Anyway, the new stuff we have to help us in being creative doesn`t replace talent, it just makes it easier to express it. If you have no "talent", no amount of computer assistance will help.

I am all for the younger generation finding their talent and expanding it to it`s fullest, but stay in school and get an education also. Our "talents" may fade but an education will keep us alive forever.

And we sit back and wonder why there is poverty in America...

I seriously wonder if rap "music" showing all these guys with grills, rims, and chains worth a lot of money influences those with an interest to go out and spend their entire paycheck on fancy luxury items instead of taking the proper steps to save. I know that all that "bling" for most rappers is just a drop in the bucket but for the average person they are far too out of reach, but because the average person wants to be "cool" and have all the things their favorite musician has, they decide to waste their money instead of taking care of themselves and their family.

I know this might sound racist, but I think the excuse of "the white man pushing the black man into poverty" is LONG gone...black people put themselves in poverty because they choose to buy things THEY CAN`T AFFORD just to look cool...

Just my little rant...blast me as you feel neccessary...I don`t care
