"Has anyone else got the redirect that says the site is a reported attack site?? This isn`t my firewall because I don`t have anything like it. And if you click ignore it takes you to their website to install anti-virus software. WTF? Am I the only one this is happening to?"

IAB your site is infected.. I thought it was just my Comp!!!

This virus is called "ANTIVIRUS 360" and is completely malicious. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSATNCES DOWNLOAD THIS. You need to get a registry cleaner like I just did and clean it if you do. It will imbed code into the guts of your system and hi-jack a few things.

You are warned and this is no joke. Look up "Antivirus 360" you`ll see.

it happened to me too. I had to close out of the internet entirely to get rid of it. Run your antivirus program just to be safe.

"I tell you, watch out for those theater kids and their crazy pranks.

Lmao, I read that in an old guy voice, and laughed.

I find it extremely difficult to believe this was a "mix up" or a prank, because backstage props are usually checked before every show to make certain it is all in place.

This made me cringe. I will make certain to check any fake weapons for productions beforehand...

I`d be pissed if that happened to me. How would you like it if some one was like "here sit in your office chair" but in reality it is a massive spring that is going to shoot you half way across the room and break your neck.

Come on... just because they`re doing a play doesn`t mean there has to be extra drama. It was a mix up, these things happen.

Not really straight from a book, as much straight from an episode of "Monk". That actually was one episode.

I`ve probably been reading too many crime books (blame Agatha Christie), but this smells to me like a murder.

Accident be damned, he`s just one VERY dedicated actor who was so devoted to playing the role realistically that no sacrifice was too great in the pursuit of artistic excellence. Kudos to him. Reminds me of that scene in Scary Movie where the girl is on stage screaming "Behind you! He`s got a knife! He`s murdering her! Why won`t you listen to me!?" and everyone is like "Wow, she`s good".

Sounds like a plot from Murder She Wrote or Diagnosis: Murder. Tragic...

"This doesn`t make sense unless they were doing rehearsal with a different knife otherwise it would have happened sooner. And seriously who would keep slitting after they felt the blade go into their skin.

Idiot. "

Actually, most people wouldn`t notice how sharp the blade was until after the cut was made. Nobody gently slices their own throat; a quick flick of the wrist is necessary, otherwise the suicide hopeful succumbs to pain before they can finish the job.
I do agree with the whole knife idea, though. Even a shoddy production crew wouldn`t risk injuring its players during rehearsal, so there must`ve been some sort of subversive plot to keep that particular actor from taking his bow.

"one possibility is that the props staff forgot to blunt its blade. "The knife even still had the price tag on it," an investigator said."

This doesn`t make sense unless they were doing rehearsal with a different knife otherwise it would have happened sooner. And seriously who would keep slitting after they felt the blade go into their skin.

Idiot.

vv Why in the world would someone slice their neck that badly for a publicity stunt?
0
Reply
Male 4,594
Hmmmm... I smell something fishy here. Like maybe a publicity stunt. Why in the world would the actor put that kind of pressure on the knife, even if it were a stunt knife? I think he could`ve got the same result by faking the slice... you know, by acting.

The same thing happened with Macbeth. The story is that the knives were switched and people were really killed, that`s why no one is supposed to say it. Wow. Thank goodness he survived.

habbazoot; "thank god he survived, but how do you switch an fake knife with a real one?
and if it was murder, couldnt there be a better way?"

The only reason you can switch a real knife for a fake one is that the fake knife is real just the stage hands blunt it. So the knife is still real just wont cut you.
