Link: 6 Musicians Who Predicted Their Own Death in Song - Everybody dies, but these 6 were awesome enough to write lyrics about it--years before they actually bit the dust.

If random people say random things over a long enough period of time, then SOMETHING is bound to come true.

Some lyrics are waaay to vague. Something like "I`m probably gonna die someday". The author is all like "ZOMG he said he would die and he DID!".
    Still, gotta love Cracked`s style.

Some of those are pretty vague... I mean all big musicians talk about death eventually. And then some of them die unexpectedly.

Roses are red, violets are blue,
    Everyone dies, right on cue.
Neither one second early nor one second late,
We die when our time is up, no need to wait.

Let`s analyze her the missteps in logic here. She`s taking this bit of proof, which consists of a bunch of lyrics that could be interpreted as wholly unremarkable predictions but probably weren`t intended as musical prophecy in the first place. Everybody dies. For someone to say that they`ll die to die is not impressive. Anyways, in her mind we jump from that to the existence of God, and not just any God--her God, a male God who communicates with us, presumably the biblical God. Even if these "predictions" couldn`t be dismissed as coincidental, which they can be, it wouldn`t prove that any sort of God is real, much less her specific God. Very few people know how to think properly. It`s extremely distressing.

If Jimi Hendrix sang on, say, a chorus of Red House, "Ooh, baby, on September 18th, 1970, I am going to die in the flat of Monika Dannemann in the Samarkand hotel in London, ooh, Lord, baby, I know because God told me so," THEN I might be impressed. The key to successful predictions is for them to be uselessly vague.

@ boredfjord: I couldn`t agree more, if that`s the way people are `predicting` the future, I can do the same.

"in 50 years in the future, something horrible will have happened."

Take that for example. Something a fortune teller might have said. He/she`s basically telling you that `something` that isn`t good will happen in the coming 50 years...Geez, what`re the odds of that? about a 100 percent, I`d say...
I told you it was easy ;)
