Roll the dice and decide the best time to cash their score into the bank. Risk it or lose it all.

That`s true but you what comes up is what is available to choose. So everything that can be picked comes up for you anyway. So if there are two options that is all that is available.

Just so you know you don`t have to click on the thing that says how many points you get. you can click on the actual die themselves. That`s how that`s happening.

Has anyone actually watched the computer`s totals when it plays? Was just playing and on first roll the only thing the computer could bank was 200 points with 2 dice. Somehow it managed to only bank 100 and use one dice. Then next roll it could bank 200 or 100 both with 2 dice but somehow managed to get 50 with one dice?!?!? WTF

The game seems to give way, way more leniency in the randomness toward the computer than for the player, much more often than not.

A shame, really.

"Anybody got an Idea what happens if you have equal scores after the last round?"

hmm... maybe you would win an award or something for tied scores. Almost anything gets you a new award.

I think I just found my new favorite game. It reminds me of one that my hubby`s family played at thanksgiving last year.

liky that`s not cheating. you can do the same thing. instead of clicking on the "two ones" option just click on one of the dice.

V Liky: You are incorrect. No cheating occured. Having only one `1` or one `5` counts as a score (one 1 is 100 points, one 5 is 50).

If you have an extra however (two or more 1s or 5s), you have the option of keeping all the dies, as the Realist CPU plays, keeping only one, so that the next roll has more options. This is in fact a better strategy (in theory) if you have two 5s: keeping only one 5 allows you to roll again, but with 5 dies instead of only 4.

I`ve discovered that the "Realist" level is DEFINITELY CHEATING against you. Every time it rolls a "two ones" or "two fives" (and there`s no other option for it, or it really selected this option), it stops only one of these two and continues rolling the other. Since it moves very fast i think few people can spot the trick. For example, it starts rolling 6 dice and two ones appeared, being the only scoring option. It then rolls again with 5 dice when it should roll only 4!!

I was ahead by 4000 points. Then I 3 double zilches in a row and the comp ended up getting several 1500 points and free rolls. bastard.

I love how the awards just keep you playing and playing and playing... regardless of how retardedly simple this game is.

And as someone who`s fascinated with mathematics I`m tempted to calculate the probabilities and chances of scoring high, but Ii can`t be bothered to draw it up.

All i know is, as an extension to slugs` tips, if you still have 3 dies to roll, keep rolling because each dice left still has a 1/3 chance of being a 1 or a 5.

It`s not really that hard, especially if you`re the `small but steady` type. A constant stream of 300s is better than unlucky rolls that give zeroes.

Unless the stupid computer gets lucky.

The game is mostly luck, but a big portion of it is strategy. I played this dice game for years, but we always called it Zonk.

Some tips:
1. Don`t try and get 1000+ points every roll, you have to bank smaller points or you will never get anywhere.

2. Say you roll a 1 and two 5`s, only hold one 1 and reroll, now you have a better chance of getting more 1`s or higher scoring dice.

3. Remember that only 1`s and 5`s are scoring dice alone, anything else ( 2, 3, 4, 6) have to be three of a kind or part of a straight to score. Straights are very rare and you can only get it on the first roll, so don`t bother trying after that.

davy, my thoughts exactly.

wish it had more yahtzee to it...I`d be doing better.

why is 2 1`s worth 200, 2 5`s worth 100 and 2 6`s worth nothing?

...The computer has something against me. It will NOT let me win. D:

I have the worst luck...

It`s why I lost my left lung to the slots. D:

Awesome dice game. This is probably the best dice game on the net. It moves quick and the awards are fun to try and get.
