"`Xmas` does not begin with the Roman letter X. It begins with the Greek letter `chi,` which was used in medieval manuscripts as an abbreviation for the word `Christ` (xus = christus, etc.)."

Oooh, I`ma whip that one out on the next hag who says anything about replacing Christ`s name with an X being rude.

Lol, Pilanus. Caligula actually /did/ make his horse a senator. And he forced the roman people to make a temple for himself, I believe.

Pretty neat website.

"Only 6 people in the whole world have died from moshing."

Now I know that`s not true.
"The first product Motorola started to develop was a record player for automobiles. At that time, the most known player on the market was Victrola, which Motorola got their name from."

I actually knew that already but I can`t remember where I read it. Grr, now I won`t be able to sleep at night! Thanks dark little simpsons man.

Haha, Funny, but i doubt most are true. My first one was "Roman Emperor Caligula made his horse a senator" He probably did, that guy was nuts.

The next one was "Only fruits and honey are the only natural food that do not kill any living thing."
the third one was "If you make $100,000 a year, every minute of your life that year is worth 19 cents."
and the last one was "if you put alcohol on a scorpions body, it will instantly go mad and sting itself to death."

Judy Scheindlin (”Judge Judy”) has a $25,000,000 salary, while Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg has a $190,100 salary.

And we wonder why the judicial system is the way it is....

The number of atoms in the universe is 10^50 not 10^80. Also, the chess thing is quite simple. Multiply the odds of every piece by every poision by every move by every outcome. And yes, its more than 10^50.

"According to this, there are more legal positions on a chess board than known atoms in the universe. I don`t belive that...."

I did a research report on it, and its true. There about 10^120 moves possible in a chess game...at each move you have about 30 possible moves, and each of those variations have 30 possible moves and so on. If you assume 40 moves is the average end of a game, then 10^120 is an ok estimate. The number of atoms in the universe is about 10^80

Humans only use 10% of their brains? Not true!

Goldfish have an attention span of 3 seconds? Goldfish can be trained to do tricks, so I guess they have a longer attention span.

"Since 1978, 37 people have died by Vending Machine`s falling on them. 13 people are killed annually."

Nice one Einstein. Your stunning math skillz are only surpassed by your spurious grammatical employment of superfluous apostrophes.

>>100 people die every year from BIC pens?

>Yeah, but that`s like a
0.000000001% chance

0.0000000151% chance, more than ten times higher than you were thinking. So, smarty pants, you better be mightly careful with those BIC pens.

Yeah, but that`s like a 0.000000001% chance of it happening to you. But imagine that. "So how did billy die...?" *window crying*.
