Really? I`d assume the treadmill rubber would move in conjunction with the wheels, so you`d have to move your feet anyway, otherwise you`d fall off when it sped down a hill (though you wouldn`t have to put so much energy into it)
People would actually buy a "Treadmobile", never thinking of actually walking?
Seriously, when I was a kid, I got to ride a tandem bike. It was friggin` great. I don`t know why I liked it so much, but there was a sense of teamwork and shared doom at every turn.
I don`t know if I`d like it as much now, though. Again, you look pretty dorky on a tandem bike (or treadmill), so if you`re worried about the cool factor (and I am uber-cool and plan to stay that way) then you should avoid tandem bikes.
