It"s a treadmill. It"s a mode of transportation. it"s completely redundant.

I never understood the advantage of a treadmill as opposed to the ground. At least when you`re outside or in an arena you`re not staring at a wall or a TV.
This, on the other hand, is completely god damn stupid.

All of the fun of running down the street without actually having to touch the ground. Also with the added benefit of looking like a complete idiot.

"Also it will use momentum to keep going when you slow down a bit."

Really? I`d assume the treadmill rubber would move in conjunction with the wheels, so you`d have to move your feet anyway, otherwise you`d fall off when it sped down a hill (though you wouldn`t have to put so much energy into it)

Everyone is going on about the pointlessness of this product, and no-one seems to have worked out how it works. IT HAS GEARS... like a BIKE. That means if you put in a bit more effort then you can go faster than just walking or running. Also it will use momentum to keep going when you slow down a bit.
Unfortunately it looks quite a bit heavier than a bike, so nowhere near as efficient unless they make a lightweight bare frame version.

you are kidding me...right?

People would actually buy a "Treadmobile", never thinking of actually walking?

Maybe its supposed to provide a lower impact workout? Still seems redundant irregardless though... (please note the intended irony of using a redundant word like irregardless to describe such a redundant invention)

That actually looks like it could be with a partner... if you don`t mind looking like a dork.

Seriously, when I was a kid, I got to ride a tandem bike. It was friggin` great. I don`t know why I liked it so much, but there was a sense of teamwork and shared doom at every turn.

I don`t know if I`d like it as much now, though. Again, you look pretty dorky on a tandem bike (or treadmill), so if you`re worried about the cool factor (and I am uber-cool and plan to stay that way) then you should avoid tandem bikes.

I wonder how efficient it is compared to a bicycle...

Its a Flintstones car, without the blisters.
And that just kinda takes the fun out of it, dont you think?

its the flinstones in the twenty first century. What was the point of those cars anyway. you still had to walk only with the added weight of a stone car.

only reason for using it in my opinion would be it would take more effort to move about using that than it would be to run the same distance
really stupid idea in my opinion

It looks like it goes a bit faster than his running speed, if not then yes, it is entirely redundant, Or as Mr. Dink would say, "It`s exactly like walking or running, but much more expensive!"
