I`m satisfied by just 2 dominoes falling. Anything more means you`re not getting laid...

I`m sure Che and Gandhi are just so happy right now that they were made in dominoes.

All that time (months probably, if not a year or two) to just knock it over?...

Jesus...get a life.

I`d love to see this halfway done and have some dunce accidentally knock one down while setting up another. The sheer anger of all the other people involved would be entertaining. It`d be like that fat german kid video.

And to think that I thought being able to knock over 50 dominoes seemed like a great achievement...

I didn`t enjoy it as a huge, continuous ride, but as a lot of separate, yet awesome, stages. Pretty cool, though.

aw man, that was awesome.
i would never have to patience to do that.

if i just set up one line of dominoes and knock them down by accident, i`d be like, "OH, F*CK THIS!"

You have to marvel at how people can be enthused with falling dominoes for two hours. Some creative ideas though.

im now fascinated with how they set it up so of course you must now know too :D
"Four builders’ challenges were set in which pairs of builders were chosen to complete vital parts of the set-up while the dominoes were already toppling
The design of the course took about a year and a team of 90 builders took around two months to build it. It then took over 2 hours to tumble. Here are about 20 minutes of the whole thing.

I`d think it`d be really funny if in the end it just spelled out

"Go outside"

Crazy dutch people... LOL
Anyway, it would take too long to show everything. This is shown every year on television and it takes about 2.5 hours for all the dominoes to fall. (they attempt a new world record every year for 10 years now, and got it 10 times in a row)

That`s bull...we didn`t get the world record 2 times out of those 10, maybe even more...

and it`s not amazing to watch, because the domino`s do fall in 2,5 hours...but 2 of those 2,5 we don`t get to see, because of stupid commercials and celebrity`s that have nothing better to do with their time...

that`s why i stopped watching it 8 years ago...

It was more like a "mouse trap." They used a lot of props other than dominoes.

The props were needed for the concept of each section, and it makes it a lot more interesting than just watching dominoes fall for two hours. It would be so awesome to watch this live.

The reason it was all cut up (edited) is because it took hours for them all to fall.

So this is what has replaced Kennedy`s dream of a race to the stars... knocking coloured plastic over to make pictures. I hear him turning over in his grave, to the sound of tumbling dominoes...

Amazing really, but two slightly negative comments...

It`d be great to see the whole thing, without the cuts to the audience, and editting. Just first domino to last.

And, I prefered these things when there were only dominoes; the massive sets (balloons and what not) just get in the way
