davymind, yeh i saw, but i mean how many people wouldn`t benefit from having a simple edit button. also back onto the game while i was playing last night i managed to get a perfect tie during the election:

that was also when i had a 99% chance of loosing the election.

Alright I get it, the auto-destruct happens when the oil runs out completly.

That makes no sense though, as your getting plenty of oil from burning humans.

Yeah this game is addicting and fun, then it just gets boring. It`s probably a game some tree huggers made to educate people about how the world`s oil supply will end.

Just for fun try skipping the election. The whole thing goes green and they pass funny laws. Like Mandatory bicycle day on Friday and crap like that. Crazy liberals. It`s easy to recover from this, just give lots of money to the most popular party to oil your president again.

2480 before boom... Got boring. Trick is to try to give to each party equally after you replace all your wells with human burners. ALSO try to leave at least one resivoir with 1 barrel a year output, then demolish the well and put a burner on top of it. That way the world doesn`t end because of no oil.

M.A.D. occurred for me at 2260. 220 years of living the high life rocks. hell, I`d have settled for 60, even 40.

Sweet, ended at 2200 with my money going past the boundaries (30mil+), and ended the world.

Truth game FTW.

The game auto-destructs in the 2060s no matter what you do. How are you preventing annihilation?

It seemed to me that the end of the world bit was triggered automatically, despite the fact that I was fulfilling the demand by burning humans.

I got bored in like 2200 something and destroyed my human burners and just used the oil wells that were left running... after the oil hits abt $350 the world ends... i wonder if you could sustain it at the $300 mark...

Circa 2066, the west civilization fell. Life fell apart. People were eating each other in the south.

I love this game.

Wow...being a douche is hard...zi mean the purposelly detroying verything part.

No offense davy, you`re no douche. Just certain oil compays perhaps.

What`s it like to work out on the field? Drilling for the black gold?

vv Silverlake: Boring! I get it! You mean as in boring=drilling! Aha, very clever pun, or play on words.

But nah, it`s not boring. When your company`s drilling a wildcat well costing $100 Million of shareholders` money, all because you went and stuck your neck out and told management that there`s PROBABLY oil down there, it`s far from boring. More like sh*t-in-your-pants terrifying, but definitely not boring.

Plus, I get to play with some awesome technology all day long and get paid for it. For example, I was dicking about on a Cray Supercomputer not one hour ago. I love it.
