It is a stress test on the an engine build, that is why. A lot of companies, especially higher end builders, will design a motor and stress the piss out of it. That way they know what to expect when they duplicate the build and sell it.

I hope there was a point to that. Like studying different aspects to increase safety or efficiency or something. Otherwise it was pointless.

It was amazing to see the pipes go back to normal color so fast. You know they were still super hot.
