We have corporate gangsterism in the white house.
That is government policy guided by Bush Administration for corporate interests every step of the way. Now democrats have to clean up the mess - again - this is getting tiresome except this time we are left with an unprecedented 11 trillion dollar debt and 4000 dead US soldiers for the bogus Halliburton extravagansa in Iraq - Thanks Dickhead Cheney!

katman, I`ll believe people think when they start voting for people based on issues and not an image, and when people can explain when they talk about how every thing is Bush`s fault.

maiye did I say anyone couldn`t give their opinion? No I just disagreed with it. There`s a difference.

splurbyburbl, I think it has to do with our need to always lay blame on someone. Thank you for pointing the finger at who deserves it, I mean if anyone saw the New Orleans policewomen looting walmart video, I think it points to a much larger issue than Bush.

I just think the media still isn`t sure whether or not it can ever blame or criticise black people.

people honestly don`t know who did anything. if its bad its bush`s fault. even the economy crisis and that had left hands all over it cmon!

Oh splurbyburbl,,, you ignorant sl*t...

Bush is tremendously different from other presidents... Primarily because he is not really in charge at all. He is a puppet put in place so that the neocons could get what they want. All George ever wanted was to be president. He has no agenda and makes no real decisions. He is just a silly man with a famous last name that people like Chaney, Rumsfield, Wolfowitz and Pearl use to accomplish their agendas. Its only their incompetence that has been the saving grace.. They are really bad at being bad.

Remember back to his first term when he did not even hold any press conferences because every time he spoke publicly he didn`t even seem to know what the policies of his own administration were? Now that most of the neocons have resigned in disgrace, he just seems to be doing nothing because thats all he really can do. He was never in charge

But George the man is just a silly figurehead that doesn`t even run his own administration

Dear lord. Clinton accomplished that through disastrous cuts in defense spending and by luck of the tech boom. Bush came into office just as the tech bubble burst and a recession began. Don`t give me this crap about Clinton being some sort of economic wizard.

Don`t misunderstand me. Bush is NOT the sole badguy in all of our nation`s problems. HOWEVER, as the leader of our country, it is his duty to see to our best interest as a nation. He did not do that. The domestic drilling? A ploy to make it seem like McCain, his fellow Republican, was the guy to vote for. Everything a politician does in his last year of office is meant to make his prospective replacement look good. And people need to quit whining about how Bush only looks bad because the media shows him as bad. And last I checked, Clinton eliminated the national deficit and brought this country to and economic splendor that has NEVER been seen before. Bush`s administration, thanks to 2 pointless wars, completely unraveled that work. So screw you Bush lovers for defending an idiot. Its people who vote for, and defend, trash like him that will bring about a nation like something from the movie Idiocracy.

splurbyburbl - word.

You`re both missing the point, there is no way we can be dependent on domestic sources of oil. It is not renewable which means it will run out someday. We can`t go run and hide behind the mantra "drill baby drill" and doing so here and now isn`t going to give us any temporary relief.

Money should not be spent drilling in new places here but instead on finding new energy sources. Making new green technology that is made here in the US? That is what is going to help get us out of this economic mess. Drilling here for more oil is not.

Fixing our infrastructure and creating tons of new, green jobs is the new, "New Deal" the US needs.

splurbyburbl, hey I agree with you about his adminstration not being the only thing that has caused this economic downturns, but one of the many things? Yes. Democrats, like you said, allowed for too many loans to go out to people that couldn`t pay them and Republicans passed legislation that took off regulations that could`ve prevented some of the damage from that.

There is blame to go all around and if that`s the case then we need to look for more solutions and stop pointing fingers since everyone has a hand in this.

I am well aware of why people think they hate him. I am saying that he is no different than most other Presidents. The fact that information is more easily obtainable due to the internet... well, so is mis-information.

Responsible for the largest economic dowturn in history? Are you sure about that? Are you sure HE is responsible for that? Prove it. You`re full of it. Hell, take a look at how Clinton made it easier for people to get home loans who couldn`t really afford them. Now we are seeing huge problems with credit and foreclosures. Don`t be too hasty in blaming the current administrations for policies set forth years before it. It`s riddiculous... it`s mis-information thanks to all the nonsense conjecture that everyone with an ignorant voice spewing their sea-lawyer filth all over the web. That along with no help from the media (all the media) spinning everything to appeal to "what`s hot" at the moment. It`s crap.

Bush is hated for being a horrible leader. Not some stupid photos. The photos just make it funny to make fun of him. He is responsible for the largest economic downturn since the Great Depression. He is responsible for a sending millions of troops to a country that had no stake in this "War on Terror" that he started. He just wanted to finish what his dad couldn`t do. He is hugely responsible for the rise in gas prices, due to himself being an oil tycoon who refuses to allow our country to depend on domestic oil sources, because it would be bad for his bank account. Screw Bush. The sooner he is out of office and out of our lives the better. Lets see an intelligent and maverick Democrat in office to fix this monkey`s messes.

"lol most hated president. beat Reagan, incredible"

Do you hear yourself when you talk? Reagan was nowhere close to being "most hated". I don`t care so much about defending Bush, but fair is fair... I wonder how Carter would look if the internet was up and running back then.

The internet and ability to share and view news, photos and video has increased exponentially during the past eight years. I am pretty sure Bush seems to be "the most hated" due to the fact that now literally EVERYONE has a voice. Even worse, everyone has opinions that are totally subject to propaganda. Which is out there in greater force than ever before in history due to above mentioned.

Funny pics? YES --Potential to happen to anyone? GREAT --Means Bush is "the most hated"? PULL HEAD FROM REAR AND MOVE ON.

Whenever Bush makes a mistake in the way he speaks it`s "Bush made another Gaffe today as he accidentally called the leader of X Mohammed, when his name is actually Mahmoud, this is the latest in a long string of... etc"

So far, now bear in mind Obama has not been in office yet: "The usually eloquent Obama today angered X by making an out of character.. etc etc etc"

I`ve heard "the usually eloquent Obama" at least 3 times, and him screwing up was "An example of what a minefield middle east politics can be" as opposed to, you know, his fault.

An up market accent is not eloquence.

To be fair to Obama though, he is probably what America needs right now, which is someone who can be a poster child for the rest of the world. He is charismatic, and has the potential to fix a lot of America`s foreign relation problems.

If he doesn`t screw it up with bad policies and partisanship.

People really need to understand that the president is still just a human being. They live lives not that much different from our own, just with a few more luxuries as to how they are carried out, and a lot more cameras on them. People expecting the president to automatically fix everything or never do wrong think differently, and would rather see the president as a demi-god.

as far as the pope picture, some people sit like that when really concentrating on the speech. I do it with my wife when I`m really trying to compute everything she`s saying so as to get rid of ALL over senses.

for people like Giligadi, he may have been a goofy guy, look at how many people are smiling in his pictures, having a good time. he is man enough to take the blunt of ALL the jokes people like you have been putting on him, shoulder the weight of the american economy and struggles, and most importantly, stand in front of the citizens and explain EVERYTHING that needs to happen or is happening.

Obama is the type of president who will blame everything on bush (be it is fault or congress`s) and pass blame on others. if you think he`s the savior of the economy, you have something coming. we HAVE to reach a depression, he`s not helping by putting it off.
