besides if you have a bad heart condition you probably should be a cop anyways.
Oh, and Opie?Lovin` the hair.
He needs help, that one.
There are some rare ones however which are designed (I think) to get into the skin of the person (incase the person happens not to be wearing a top; the barbs may be strong enough to penetrate skin, I`m not sure), however there are some that require surgery to remove. But still, aside from that, tazers have gas canisters fitted, and are designed so that they can catch someone at around 20ft. He had it less than arms length. I`m sure taking a gas powered bb gun and doing the same would hurt one hell of a lot. Now add a 5000 volts to that. Not pretty.
GOD BLESS AMERICA...
For tazing a suspect who is already on the ground.
Not true. I have a family friend who is a Cop and he was tazed in his training along with all others who were doing training with him.
Injuries, did someone say injuries? Little kid is learning to walk and he falls and gets an injury? AND THE PARENTS ALLOW HIM TO KEEP TRYING TO WALK?Football player breaks a leg, AND THEY ALLOW HIM TO KEEP PLAYING WHEN ITS HEALED? Tazer injures (note it didn`t say severely or minorly) someone, SO WE SHOULDNT ALLOW PEOPLE TO CARRY ITEMS THAT CAN SAVE LIVES
No, tazering has the potential to be fatal if the subject has a heart condition etc, so it used as a last resort. All cops get PEPPER-SPRAYED before they are allowed to carry and use it, but not tazered.
