That was so damn amazing! I LOVE nature!

These people are my heroes for standing there and filming it but whoever was filming should really learn how to zoom and hold a camcorder.

Hahaha! I like how they began filming standing not too far from the location and then backed up to stand behind their car!

@xtkm1x: Over water, they`re called waterspouts--over land, tornadoes.

Where was this I wonder? Strange business that Tornados generally don`t form in mountainous terrain.

Tornados are one of my worst fears, second only to goat-men.

Ben117, stop with the multiple-emotes, if you want to use one to express an emotion, fine, but stop putting posts up with vertical strings of 5 or 6 of them, that`s just trolling.

He stopped filming to get his bum outta` there because it was turning around.

But this was awsome.

yup, that looks pretty cool. I`ve seen really small and cute baby tornado`s when I was in california...but I`d really like to see something like this. Why did he stop filming anyway?

"hmm...if you were in the lake, and it went over you whatd happen?"

You`d probably be picked up and tossed away. And then you`d die unless you`re extremely lucky.

That`s pretty.
I`d love to chase a tornado once in my life. Hurricanes would be a bit boring to chase since they`re so huge, a tornado would be more fun.

hmm I wonder what it would feel like to be swept up by one of those?

I suppose that the wind would knock you out before you got to know!

Imagine trying to ride that thing - go under it with a parachute strapped to your back so once you get to the top you have a chance of not dying... With one like that I would imagine it wouldn`t be too dangerous either, what with the lack of debris.

idontknow951, I know the speed of it was deceiving, and it probably would pick me up and throw me some way... But I do, in fact, have that urge. :P

That`s not really a tornado being "born". It`s a tornado crossing a lake. Just because you can`t see the whole funnel, doesn`t mean it isn`t there - air happens to be transparent.

Tornadoes always scare me...but something about this one seemed kind of artistic...

"Weeeell-UH, I`m goin` in to duh ditch if it comes."
