Bane broke Batman`s back, Azrael took over and was even MORE brutal than Wayne ever was. Plus the suit was way cooler. What happened? Wayne healed from his paralysis and donned the original suit again...big damn surprise.
D.C. should learn to stop being a bunch of chumps because it`s like the old cliche` goes, "If at first you don`t succeed, skydiving is not for you."
I might buy a couple of copies in case it`s worth some cash. might make a decent addition to my collection but I still think the whole thing is friggin` lame.
Either way, it`s gonna be a big thing and, just like Superman, they`ll kill it by bringing him back.
They don`t have the bat balls to do anything otherwise.
Actually, it might just be possible that Captain A is not dead either. In fact, I have a hunch that on January 20th, Captain America will suddenly be resurrected... and he`ll have mysteriously turned black.
Also, Bruce Wayne cannot die, otherwise it leaves plot holes in the fast forward issues, as someone pointed out Bruce Wayne teaches Terry McGinest (sp?) in 2040 (or so) to be Batman.
I don`t expect Bruce to be gone completely, they will probably write a couple of issues and sees how it goes, if the sales drop expect a "soap opera" style brought-back=from-the-dead story twist to bring him back. much like they are doing with I am Legend 2...
Unless, on the other hand, this thing leads to "The Dark Knight Returns" then it`ll redeem itself
Good riddance, doubt it`ll last, same as bloody superman
Sorry, FOUNNND him!! he`s NOT dead. AWK-ward!! Swish.
Just kidding. But it is fun when I get one of you to say z instead of zed.
It`s not a mis-spelling. That`s how we spell it in England, where we speak English English. Next you`ll be telling us we spell Aluminium wrong too.
And to all the people claiming that there`s spoilers? Shut up. If you didn`t know he was going to "kick the bucket" allegedly, then you haven`t read a comic in a long long time, so it shouldn`t matter to you. This "event" has been called "Batman R.I.P." from the get go and has been announced to be the title that finally "kills off" the Batman.
If you`re a Batman fan, it`s been kind of impossible to not know what this was about.
Now it`s on BBC news.
Either you didn`t read the article, or your f*cking retarded. I`m guessing both.
Doesn`t seem right to me.
Well, it is The Sun. Plus, it made the news when they killed of Captain America, or Superman way back when.
Not that it excuses it being on a news site in any way, I`m just saying.
^I guess its a little to late for that though.
