He was definitely a great author.

I put up a little shrine to him at my work (bookstore)...

RIP Mr. Crichton. Your works of art will be missed in the literary world.

They should play the jurasic park theme song at his funeral. Also they should invite barney the dinosaur for some light entertainment.

Damn. This actually upset me. He was one of the better authors of our time. I hate when artists and others of this caliber die. Makes the world a little more dreary.

Gratz on 1000th, six, sorry it was depressing though. Well, I tried to read Jurassic Park, but admit that I just couldn`t get into it. Granted I was like 12 at the time (had just seen the movie). Maybe I`ll try again, in honor.

Damnit... that really sucks. Jurrasic Park was very good... but wasn`t his best.

Thankfully he left us with a great library of work to remember him by.

Aw c`mon, Jurassic Park 1, 2 and 3 were all the same plot and mindless chases anyway, they could still make Jurassic Park 4, 5, 6 and 999. And I bet he wasn`t REALLY privately battling cancer, I bet he was privately battling a 30 foot tyrannosaurus rex clone he made in his own basement when it happened.

Now if only we could find a cure to Crapius Sequeltomilkthecashcowus.

lol

JP$- they dumped the dino-rider thing. Spielberg said it swerved away from the plot too much

He was a great writer. He was never anti-technology, but he sure wrote like it.
