#1 "He was extremely specific, not vague." Please post one specific thing from splurbyburbl`s post that you quoted from, maybe you were referring to a different part of the post? "Not to mention judging a possible candidates abilities BEFORE he even has a chance to prove himself in office." Can we use his time in the US Senate, IL Senate and before?
#2 "I made no reference whatsoever of "everything", or even hinted at such." It was asked as a question. From your response, I was guessing you do hold Bush/Republicans guilty for a lot more than "very little".
#3 "Hyperbole is "a figure of speech, which is an exaggeration"." Umm, yes it is. Commonly paired with uses of the words "the most". Not sure if you didn`t think I used it correctly or if you were just agreeing with my world`s most awsome use of the world ;)
Thank you for your comment, it refelcts your age I am sure.
More importantly however, many of the "things" that have happened in the past years is a direct result from decisions that were made over a decade ago and even before that. For instance, Clinton helped make it much easier for people to get home loans by loosening the requiremnets, etc. As a result we saw irresponsible lending which lead to our current credit and lending crisis.
No doubt ten years from now we will all see where the current administrations actions and decisions will be taking our country for better or worse.
If you still don`t understand then I will go ahead and find a "medium" after your death which may be coming soon due to your old age and I will try to let you know how the current decisions have affected all of us.
#1 He was extremely specific, not vague. Not to mention judging a possible candidates abilities BEFORE he even has a chance to prove himself in office. And in addition seeing a Director as forever ignorant for expressing an opinion in a short, funny clip.
#2 I made no reference whatsoever of "everything", or even hinted at such.
#3 Hyperbole is "a figure of speech, which is an exaggeration".
I simply called it the way I saw it, i.e. ridiculous. "Very little" (responsibility) is pushing it, for any administration, at any time, that`s been in office for EIGHT years.
That may possibly be the most ignorant statement I`ve ever witnessed on I-A-B; no, wait it IS.
And no, I do not like Obama; and yes I did vote for Bush--but my God! brainwashing by the current `Party Line` is a sad thing to see printed out, even here (shakes head in disgust).
"Change" will be what you have in your pocket when Obama is done with you. Mr. Howard is a good director no doubt... I hate that now everytime I see his work the title of "ignorant" will flash through my mind as well. Pity really
Oh my god, you kids are so young! I watched Happy Days on channel 7 on Tuesdays at 8 p.m., on a tv with a dial on the front and no remote. There was no Nick at Nite then. Damn I`m old!
Ow - I was momentarily blinded at .26 when Ron Howard whipped off his shirt.
Very nice. I agree.
Opie done real good on this one.
I`m afraid he`s gonna win. And then the US is really going to be screwed.
Obama, change, really? Am I the only one who sees how superficial all this "change" stuff really is? Its become a slogan, nothing more.
I liked this...even if it was kind of lame.My Mom used to watch reruns of these shows all the time..It was wierd seeing them all old and...yeah.
i was hoping to see opiebreath
*throws paper away*
dear people who are going to be president or hold a major role in the us,
p.s. i`ll be in norway(by the time we can really drat anything up) or somewhere else if you need to reach me. have fun with the mavericks and the roostery chornic lier. :P
Seriously. He`s awfully girl-pretty for a guy. It`s freaking me out.
I know this is going to be a downer, but...How come the majority [all] the videos I have seen supporting Obama talk about how great and wonderful he is and how he will make everything ok, yet never talk about his policies or how he is going to make everything ok?I really don`t like voting Republican, but it looks like this year I`ll be voting for a known evil instead of an unkown evil... great choices... and yes I know there are third party candidates.
