"Skittles. taste the vehicular manlaughter" doesn`t quite have the same ring to it.
or it could be don`t worry about the damn dog?
Oh and Northern Ireland is not in Britain, it`s in the United Kingdom
"all of Britain *IS* English, what you should have said is "all of the United Kingdom aint English"
Britain includes wales and Scotland....So does that make it a triple fail???? Misurix is perfectly correct....
However we have other hard-hitting shock tactic driving ads called "THINK!".
The biggest hard hitting ads come from Australia though.
However, I wasn`t sobbing over this. I was listening to "Spanish Flea".
In all seriousness, British/English people kick ass and I have nothing at all against them.
DOUBLE FAIL!!Ryan, learn to spell "Why" and you might stand a chance.MisuriX, all of Britain *IS* English, what you should have said is "all of the United Kingdom aint English"
Which are British ignorant to the fact that all Americans aren`t ignorant?
Answer that, and then you`ll have your answer.
specially the guy gettin smooshed into the girls legs
it didn`t look too enjoyable. =/
I was having a great day until this...
Okay. I`m upset. Gonna go now. :c
that couple was looking pretty cozy, when all of a sudden BAM!!!!
Watching it doesn`t bother me much.
THANKS A LOT, IAB!
and also you probably have never driven a car seeing how you are 13-17. When you are driving it`s pretty much an instict to slam your breake or swerve from something when an object runs into the middle of the road. Whetherit be animal or person. Of course i`m an animal love myself and would find it pretty difficult to not swerve away from hitting a cat.
What a 18-28 kid you sir fail at life.
The probability of that happening to the bystanders though is extremely small, so this feels a bit sensationalist to me. But hey, it gets the point across.
And Mac, that picture is AWESOME. I really wish my apartment allowed animals, I`d go out and get two puppies.
Thank you }-)
Heh, I crack myself up.
i was wondering why i hadn`t seen that before
Certainly a sobering commercial. What makes it even worse was the girl knew it was going to happen, but didn`t have time to warn her boyfriend or move... if that were me, I`d feel guilty for the rest of my life for not being able to say something in time.
And the moral is simple - Kill your speed, not our kids!!
Here you go. We know how to make an uplifting advert...
what a genius you are. truly...-.-
If it`s from Northern Ireland, it`s British. If it`s from the Republic of Ireland, it`s Irish.
EXACTLY. He was overtaking when it was unsafe. Speeding was a factor, but only one factor amongst several. It`s right that they should make people aware of the dangers of speeding, but it`s ridiculous that most campaigns make it their focus at the expense of all others. Had that driver been going the speed limit for that road (60, if Northern Ireland follows the same national speed limit as the rest of the UK) but still driven in the same way in all other respects, that accident will still have happened, and would still be just as deadly.
I worry that so many accidents are still occuring because all the energy is spent raising awareness of speed, not of many of the other primary factors.
Speed is a BIG killer (the most major in that list), but not the only one by far. Alcohol and drugs, inattention, wrong course/position, all need awareness too.
Yeah, thats stupid. Why dont they put the moral in some sort of tagline at the end of the video, that would make more sense. OH WAIT! They did! -.- Jeese, watch the video properly if you are going to submit it...
BTW this isn`t english...
Here are some english road safety adverts:http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=FS5f73EHRh...http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lsJs4AYa8s...http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=OsHL30Z60k...http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=qsY_Co-p8B...
heyyy... im English :(
I understand the message against speeding, But this was over the top in so many ways.
Shanir - No thanks. I`m happy being the way I am.
I found it pretty funny, myself.
...it wasn`t speed that caused this accident. It was innapropriate overtaking and poor reaction to an unexpected event.
So why is the focus on speed? Why is the focus ALWAYS on speed? As if everyone slowing down will miraculously stop idiots causing accidents?
The point is to slow down.
