Pretty neat ideas. The globe seems like it would be hard to see sometimes. Especially while driving.

    Lol, gotta love that mindset.

"I want my car to win a collision with a semi, all other factors are secondary".

Awesome? Yes. Useful? Hell no... Seriously why cant the "big shots" realize that while luxury cars are nice, they need to stop wasting money on this BS because there are many people who don`t give a damn about how "advanced" their car is and just need something to get them from point A to point B thats cheap. A majority of Car sales are those of used cars, Thats because A. Their cheap B. They got good gas mileage(well the honda`s/nissan`s/etc etc) C. They`re simple to fix and don`t require a special machine) D. You know(if you get a low mileage car) that they`re reliable because they`ve been around for many years.

I like the car up until the tray tables and navigation orb. That thing is probably worse than a texting driver eating soup while driving.

the outside design is great! but that friggin `globe` thingy is a HUGE waste and a major distraction.

ITSALLFAKE said it best:central globe in middle of dash with all cars instruments on it = CRASH

I don`t normally go for neat, gimmicky automobiles (more of a truck and muscle car guy), but I actually liked this. Maybe, `cause it`s not as gimmicky as it seems at first glance.

The way the rear side doors and the cargo door open is very unobtrusive and convenient. I also especially liked that roof. Oh, and the console down the middle with the trays and tables and arm rests could serve as a great utility.

In addition, the car looks roomy and I liked the styling inside and out. It isn`t a radical detachment from what we already see on the road today.

The only thing I wasn`t crazy about was the ball/globe/interface in the dash. It looks a bit difficult to quickly and easily interact with. I mean, as a straight-up navigation system, something along those lines would be neat, but it looks as though you have to use it to control the air conditioner, radio, and other features of the car as well.

This car looks like it`s not too far from rolling into the showrooms.

i wonder, if they placed a crash dummy between the rear suicide doors & the frame, what would happen to the DUMMY when another car strikes the door from the rear.

oh fkcit whatever is convenient, lets all chant this can never happen & maybe algore will tell you it can never happen.

It seemed pretty nifty, but I also didn`t much like the globe thing. Looks like it`d be too much work to operate while driving... which could prove dangerous.

opie, i`m pretty sure he says "surreal", as in fake.

i don`t think there is anything on that car that i am particularly fond of.

doors: whatever happened to the structural integrity and safety of having a b-pillar?
rear hatch: wait... you can open the window from the outside? that`s like putting the lock for the front door of your house on backwards.
globe: meh. i`m not really sure what to say about it. it doesn`t really make me want one.
pachinko ignition: it would be REALLY easy to lose that little ball.

personally, i`m glad that most of the "features" that companies display on their concept cars don`t make it to production.

isnt the point of a luxury car to get from point A to point B in luxury? also, theres a reason they dont care that "many" people dont care how advanced their car is. because so many people do that their buisness model works fine

When the `heart` of the car is considered to be something that doesn`t involve pistons, you have epic fail. And WTF? Small presents for the wife? They`d better be diamonds

If you lose your car keys often this car is not for you... the car key is a freakin ball... how can you put that on a keychain?

    What where they thinking?

Frankly i`m not impressed by all those gizmos and gadgets... and i`m even less impressed by the german accent of that bearded guy.

The interviewer was smirking the whole time like he was thinking "Yeah right... like anybody would fall for that crap!" I think it`s a sign of the ages.

Also, I second the whole car keys should not be spherical notion. I personally take comfort in the fact that when I lose a key, it will not automatically move toward places of lower elevation.

I actually liked the exterior design, the lack of a central pillar seemed to make sense. And the central rail thingy looks useful.

Why do Americans always call small cars "death traps"? It`s almost as if they don`t pay any attention to crash tests, and assume that bigger, older cars are safer, ignoring the modern technology and designs that make the reality exactly the reverse.
