"An elderly man was arrested after he got a little upset when a police officer pulled him over for speeding. Police in Buffalo Grove, Illinois say Henry Raskin backed his car on top of a squad car.The 72-year-old Raskin was apparently angry at being pulled over when he threw his vehicle in reverse, sped backwards and slammed into the patrol car. A tire from the car smashed through the windshield near the officer`s head. The incident, which happened in May, was caught by the officer`s dash cam. Police released the video Friday.Raskin was convicted of reckless driving, fined $220 and ordered to attend a traffic safety course."
Oh and the vid... wow. XD Nob.
unless it got stuck "
well, judging from the conversation, the guy who guy who got pulled over seemed to be elderly.
And we all know how old people drive...
unless it got stuck
at what point? (what time at)
No way this one was an accident - that guy had a chance to hit the brakes at least TWICE before ramming the squad car. Hope he gets sent up for attempted murder.
Oh, well I guess if on on the occassional car it`s a little unlikely that could be done accidentally he must have meant it...
Or if you know, he owns any one of the cars that don`t, inlcuding say every car I`ve ever driven. (Which would be 11 makes from 6 different manufacturers, including 4 different Toyotas).
Also, that`s America, where I hear like Dubai, has Automatic as standard, not manual like say the UK.
that would be quite hard on cars were the reverse gear is near first there is quite often a little thing u have to pull on the lever to let you enter it and for most other reverse positions near the 5/6th gear their is more often than not a double catch to stop you
And why do you assume that the guy did it on purpose? Didn`t he just have the car in the wrong gear or something?
I wonder what the passing drivers were thinking....
