Very cool Halloween window animation.

That`s awesome. They probably have to make it "cartoony" though for a reason haha. If it was too real looking I`m sure neighbors might be calling the police or some sort.

The images are very cartoony, but the effects are so..effective. I love it.

I FOUND WHERE TO GET IT:

You can buy the DVD of this animation (and others) from the creator at www.hallowindow.com and then you project it onto your window... except the site says they`re all sold out |-(

I WANT ONE SO BAD.. Scare the hell out of all the kids round these parts.. *evil grin*

@ horsie: I`d say a projector is what you mean. A projector would do the trick. Man, I WANTS.

it shouldnt be that hard to replicate i think.
Monitor at a white curtain or something like that and play an animation at the white thingey.

That was great. If I had time I`d get alot more into halloween. The past couple of years I`ve almost started looking at the kids as freeloading brats. But, I do remember how much I used to like it. Especially when it was done well.

britt566: "Dude... I want itttt."

Give it a couple years. Someone will either steal the idea or pay a large sum of money for it and then mass produce it for every conceivable holiday you can think of. And then, everybody on your street will have one and it`ll never be as cool then as it is now.

I have a projector that flips images so I could do this..

Though I have windows that have decorative metal inside so the window looks like its 9 panels per frame where it`s just one panel.

Either way it wouldn`t look as cool because of that. Though I am still tempted.

the guy throwing back the curtain was the best part, the rest looked a little weird to be in a window.

The face was cool but the rest sucked. Well, not that it sucked, but I was looking for a trick to make it look like there was stuff going on in the windows, not that there was a tv showing some Halloween movie in the window.

There`s this one house on my block that always goes all out for Halloween. One year they had a guy dressed as a straw man holding a bowl of candy, and so I went up to get some. He jumped up and I ran, of course. Later we saw this like, teen girl with her little brother. She wasn`t sure if the man was real, so she let her little brother go first. The guy didn`t jump at the brother, but jumped at the girl when she went.

Sweet sweet justice. :`D

all you need is a projector and a white curtain over the window, create your video ahead of time, then just play it against the windows.
