In 1991, Ken Imhoff saw Cannonball Run, he fell in love with the film"s Countach, so he built his own in his basement.

Yeah, he could make that street legal. He would need the DMV and the proper authorities to inspect it, but he could totally get tags for it if it meets requirements.

There was a Lamborghini Countach in Cannonball Run?? I remember two babes with low-zipped tops driving something, but it could have been a Morris Minor for all the notice I took of the car... I think he had his eyes on the wrong bodywork!

In 10 years he could have saved up enough money to buy one, plus he wouldn`t have to rent the excavator to dig the thing out of his basement.

Anyway, it may look like a Lamborghini, but it`s not a real one. Neither are the Fabergé eggs I make in *my* basement.

If only he had watched The Italian Job. Then he would have only had to replicate a Mini Cooper.

Davy, you have to look at the pictures of it outside... that was just bad lighting. He painted it a metallic gray.

It took him 10 years? And after all that effort, as his final flourish, he painted it Baby-Sh*t Brown? Sheesh, talk about dropping the ball...
