Would it be wrong to use them as a baby hat? :3

The terry blue would actually pretty cute as a hat...
-------------------------------------------------

They`re pretty small. I was surprised when they came in the mail at how tiny they were. So, I don`t think you`d really think they were suited for a hat once you took it out of the package. And for your first comment, you need 5 because if they spray when you use one you`re not going to reuse it before washing it, and seeing as you change a baby multiple times a day but don`t do the wash as often you need extras.

Honestly, it`s not something I would buy for myself, but it is a really cute addition to a gift basket for a baby shower. Plus, because they`re relatively uncommon you get points for originality.

i understand the concept of just using somthing else like a cloth or somthing but it is a good idea. its better then getting pee all over you

if your out and you have to change your baby boy and stuff you wanna make sure he dont pee all over you or you`re screwed unless you`re at a clothing store but if you`re at a nice resturant you get the idea

Good gawd..They`ll come up with anything to get new parents to buy things won`t they? If it is that big of a deal use a washcloth or an extra baby wipe you pansies.

Yep, they`re real. My wife got a pack for her baby shower last year. Got a good laugh out of it, having never seen them before. I never did use them though, personally. I`d either throw a towel over it, or more often take a chance. Have only been "fire-hosed" once or twice!

these are a fantastic idea. wish i knew about them when my son was newborn.

as soon as i used to take his nappie off he pee`d, its the cold on thier winky (hahaha winky) makes them go.

all it is is a little teepee to pop on his bits while your changing his nappy so he doesn`t wee in your face.

im suprised how many people think this is a joke haha.

one of the best things ever invented if you have a baby boy.

So, basically it`s a reusable diaper. In for of a condom.
Neat.

Oh, they`re real. I gave a set to a friend of mine for her baby shower. All the parents who had boys thought it was easily one of the best gift ideas they had seen.

That`s what I was thinking yaimhere. This is a good idea. And sure, you could use a little bit of flannel or something, but these are much cuter. People like having cute things for their babies. And hey! They`re washable, not disposable. These would be a good baby shower gift.

I agree with Rick_S... this is yet another product that with a good bit of advertising will be sold when someone with the tiniest bit of common sense could substitute a simple solution for free!

I mean seriously... you`re going to go out and buy a cone shaped bit of material when just draping a small flannel over the area would achieve the same result?!

Same thing as all these creams - does face cream, hand cream, body cream coin-slot cream really have any ingredients different from one another or is it just advertising that suckers in all these gullible women?!

(sorry, picking on the women because guys tend not to buy creams) - if we need it, we nick it from you girls! :-D

I`d buy them if I had a baby boy. My 9 year old boy never peed on me because I kept him covered with a wipe while cleaning. He`d probably not be happy about me talking publicly about changing his diaper.

Oh, yes. I am a Dad who changed diapers.

Obviously the people who think it`s a joke do not change babies that often. It works and keeps you from getting a shot of pee in your face. Or worse, your mouth. Cause I`ve seen that happen. If I have a boy, I would definelty put those on my registry.

They`ve been around for a while.

It`s either that or draping a facecloth over the genitals, that way it works for both genders...

OH for changing them, yeah it would be a good idea, but I`d still imagine you`d need one hand to hold it in place, meaning the other hand has to remove a daiper, hold the baby down, clean the baby [if needed], and then slip on a new diaper. I`m no expert at changing babies, but I usually need two hands free for that.

Tent pole not included.

I`m still trying to work out how it works. It`s not attatched around the babys waist, so it can`t hold itself on. You have to be there when the baby is peeing, holding it on, to remove it from the baby without it spilling [assuming it gets full] you have to tip the baby, and that`s assuming it gets roughly to the top, if it spills over, then what?
I seriously hope it`s a joke too, but unfortunatly, I don`t think it is.

It is a great invention, if you have ever tried to change a baby. Sometimes they decide to pee when you change them, if you sit that over the thod they don`t piss in your face.
