I loved Pocahontas!!! Still a favorite of mine, and it got me to read about the real story. Spirit wasn`t as terrible as they made it seem, not the best, but a little above decent.

Second, I didn`t think Spirit was THAT bad,I mean it wasn`t great but it was ok.
And thirdly, I remember seeing Quest For Camelot when I was younger...I used to kinda like it...no anymore really but I used to because I was obsese with all that midevil stuff

I was sad to see a lot of movies from my childhood on there.

I loved The Pagemaster, A Troll in Central Park, Pocahontas, Spirit, and ESPECIALLY We`re back.

Pocahontas is AMAZING if if it is historically inaccurate. Stop ripping apart my childhood!!!

I`m with this guy on Pocahontas; that movie was a terrible idea, especially because it teaches kids fallacies rather than what REALLY happened.

However, it doesn`t belong on this list because it`s problems are not those of the other films, which just sucked in concept.

I miss traditional animation on a certain level- it took a lot of talented people to pull those off. Don`t get me wrong, I`m a huge sucker for Pixar, though.

What is it about web critics these days? All they really do to drive their opinion home is talk about poop. This is poop, that is poop, I`m taking a poop right now!

It`s not all that convincing or amusing when you want a serious review of something...

SCREW YOU GUYS. POCAHONTAS IS THE poo. I can relate to Ryu-ko; I dressed up as Pocahontas for Halloween. I also used to wear it to school when I felt like it xD

As for Home on the Range, that actually did suck. There was this one weird part where the cows were on an acid trip. (not literally, but that`s what it looked like they were trying to do.)

I suppose my age really shows - almost every one of these movies is so special to me. I was raised singing Roll back the Rock, Turn back the Clock.. I was 17 when I first saw Treasure Planet, and I thought it was still pretty awesome, too. Plus, I totally dressed a Pocohantas for halloween when I was younger. Honestly, this list is upsetting. It bothers me that people prefer the new CGI films to the tradionally animated ones that take so much time to make. But once again..it`s probably a thing of my generation.

I was in between the traditional animation and CG so I have fond memories of both types of movies. For some reason though, I`ve missed pretty much all of these on the list. Probably was around my "Babe" phase, I missed a lot of movies in `96/97 because of that pig movie -_-

Treasure planet was great, I remember Mcdonald`s doing a promotion where in every happy meal you`d get part of the robot from the film free. The idea was that you`d buy 5-6 happy meal, get the arms, legs, body and head, then use them to make one big toy. Did anyone manage to collect all the parts?

Wait, this man is dissing Pocahontas and Spirit?

He obviously has no soul.

But I like what Poreka said. Of course this man wouldn`t like these movies. He`s an ADULT and these are KIDS movies. I swear to god, Wiggles and Hannah Montana absolutely sucks gluteus maximus, but how do explain kids everywhere going on and on about how much they love their shows? It`s because the shows (and movies alike) are aimed to children - NOT adults.

awww, i loved treasure planet! and pagemaster was on this list? as number FIVE? that movie was epic
but i gotta agree with pocahantas

Pagemaster was the best dratin film ever! And sure Pocahontas was a bit blasphemous to history, but the songs in it were kickass.

What the hell?
I love Pocahontas and Treasure Planet!
And for god`s sake, they`re kids films. Whoever wrote this is an adult and obviously won`t enjoy these films.
Just let some kids write reviews on the films, it`d be even better.

OMG "A Troll in Central Park"!!! THAT`S WHAT IT WAS CALLED!
I LOVED that movie!
But I could never remember what it was called.

...And I like most of the movies on that list. :(
"We`re Back!" is awesome!

Alot of those were goods kids movies. If this guy is criticising them seriously he needs to get a new hobby and stop picking on old childrens films... thats just sad.

OK, let`s suppose that HYPOTHETICALLY you know someone who might occasionally smoke certain `illegal substances` - not that you would know anyone like that of course, because this is a HYPOTHETICAL situation we`re talking about here...

But if hypothetically you were in that situation and wanted TWO OF THE BEST ANIMATED MOVIES to watch in that state, I would recommend...

Meet the Feebles (ESPECIALLY this one) (New Zealand)
Fern Gully (Australian)

Meet the Feebles is like Fraggle Rock on crack, extremely politcally incorrect (basic plot: Harry the druggie rabbit gets the Big A and goes psycho, shooting everyone in a sexual orgy)

You haven`t lived till you`ve watched "Meet the Feebles" stoned, it almost killed me, laughing so much I couldn`t breathe. Probably hard for you Yanks to find them but try - you won`t regret.

Come on, Bebe`s Kids were great!! "We don`t die, we multiply!" LOL Some of these cartoons weren`t that bad. They kept me entertained when I was little, and totally distracted the kids I had to babysit later on.

rdco, there are some things that you can watch to be nostalgic. I just watched Aladin yesterday, and although I can quote the movie from beginning to end including songs, it is still a great movie. also watched ninja turtles and that was also awesome.

on the flip, I tried to watch some other cartoons and it was like, i used to watch this?

D: My childhood!

I loved most of those movies! (Exceptions noted..)
The thing the author didn`t realize is that all (except 1-2) were made for CHILDREN. Of course many adults aren`t going to enjoy them.

And quest for Camelot was awesome. Blind hero ftw. How many times have you seen THAT in a movie. (Other than Daredevil.)

"I don`t know why, but I LOVED `We`re Back! A Dinosaur`s Story` when I was younger... Particularly the almost blind old-lady..."

Me too. XD
I thought the part where the carnival thingie turned them all back to regular dinosaurs was awesome.

But that troll in central park movie? I watched that when I was 6? And I was embarrassed even then. XD

But Don Bluth is the poo. Nimh was drating spooky. It still looks cool even now, animation wise. Same with Anastasia.

And the Road to El Dorado`s badass. Human sacrifice ftw.

Um... I think I claim the prize for the most obsessed over Pocahontas -- I went to Pocahontas on Ice for my 7th (golden) birthday party. It was the shiznit. And I still have the damn leaves that fell from the ceiling during the finale.

Pwn.

I grew up on most of these movies, so I have nothing but fond memories. However, I discovered when I tried watching Gummi Bears a few weeks ago... NEVER try to be nostalgic and relive your childhood... It`ll ruin it.
